On my way through Council Bluffs today with my 20 yr old son, we decided to stop to eat and spend sometime at the slot machines. We stopped first at the horseshoe location and we noticed 21yr age limit. I asked the security if my son could join me and he explained the rule perfectly. By the way in MN and WI, age is 18. He then told us that Harrahs across the interstate we could get in, as it was designed specifically for families. Very nice person fyi. We then left and proceeded to Harrahs and that's when it went down hill. We walked in and saw same 21 age limit. I walked up to the bald security guard and told him of the conversation I had at the other location and he rudely interrupted me and said not his problem. I then said that maybe since they are all same employer, that it would be nice to let all the security know all the rules. He replied not my responsibility and you can leave. If that was my employee, he would be fired asap. As I left I said thanks for the help and he came back with "step back up here if you want to go". REALLY, that is the type of people meeting your guests. I have been there many time before when I built the Golden corral in town and didn't remember sign as I never had a minor, 20 yrs old, with and now I never will be back.Thank my friend for great memories.
