This was my very first trip to Harrahs Gulf Coast. The room I stayed in was very dirty. My son found two very stale cookies underneath the table, which tells me they don’t clean or pick up very thoroughly. Near the wall underneath the headboard, there were empty soda bottles, amongst other trash people left behind, and lots of dust. The floor in the bathroom looks like it has never been mopped. Coffee and coffee maker was not supplied in the room. No microwave available either. Everything there is expensive. Food is expensive. Drinks are expensive. DRINKS IN THE CASINO ARE NOT FREE. If you want to use your players points to purchase food at Steak n Shake they charge you double the amount of points dollar value for what you’d actually pay. And if you spend money at Caesars amenities, you’re supposed to earn points, but none of the service providers ask you if you have a card. And then when I finally remember they tell me I’m too late. Like is it hard to reverse the transaction so that I can earn my points? When we were at the pool, we ordered food. I think the pool attendant was supposed to deliver the food to our table. Twice, on two separate occasions, different days, the food was ready and was not delivered to me. What I am complaining about is the fact that I left generous tips when I placed the order. I received no service. I tipped because I expected some sort of service. I traveled a long way to go gamble. I drove 6 hours. I thought it was cool that they offered travel reimbursement if I played two hours. However, it was not mentioned anywhere on the promotion offer that the play had to be two consecutive hours, or two hours within two consecutive days. I was there for four nights. Upon arrival, my first night there, I played for about an hour or so, since so much money can only be stretched for so long especially because I’m a gambler. And then I played again my last night there. So that last night, after I lost all my gambling budget, I finally went to the rewards center to ask for my travel reimbursement, which comes in the form of free slot play. I was informed I have not played for two hours yet. That was disappointing to hear after having travelled six hours to visit their facility. I just won’t do it again. There wasn’t anything spectacular about Biloxi, besides all the different casinos being within driving distance. The beach was empty, nothing to do on the beach. The water was not something you’d want to put your feet in.
