Disappointed in Joliet.

Stayed the weekend of June 25 - 27th. Utilized a casino host to make our reservation and in the past provided excellent rooms. This time was given a dingy room with two full beds versus requested king bed. When asked why Willie the shift manager in a condescending tone that we are only guaranteed a room and not the bed type and we should be happy that we got a room as with covid they do not need to provide anything more. Every hotel is blaming everything on covid but do not need to be rude about it. Sadly i liked staying as Harrah's Joliet but to be treated rudely is terrible customer service. Will take my business elsewhere and suggest others do as well.

Stayed for two nights in this rather dirty unkept property. First night in room 712 which smelled like cigarette smoke and appeared it has not been dusted in weeks. The air condition started making a loud bang, bang sound every 20 minutes. I was told the hotel was sold out that night. Finally at 3:00 A.M. I turned off the AC unit only to discover the hammering to continue every 20 minutes. After a sleepless night I called the front desk at 6:00 AM. to inform them we either needed a different room for the next night or we were checking out. Amazingly this sold out hotel offered us a room on the ninth floor at 6:00 A.M. (room 919) and it was available right now ??? We were pleased with the ninth floor as it smelled better and the room was cleaner. I would have to guess our Platinum status didn't entitle us to this floor because it came with perks, two free 10 ounces bottles of water and two free 12 ounces of soda, Really? Being up so early we decided to have breakfast but there is only a grill available and that did not open to 11:00 A.M. and it did not serve breakfast, pack a breakfast if you plan on staying in this joint. After a long nap in our new room we struggle throughout the day to try and enjoy our self's but it was not possible as we were still exhausted. This was our worst casino experience every... Thanks Harrah's, we won't be back!
