We went to Harrah’s with 2 other couples for 2 of our birthdays. When I originally made reservations on the Harrahs website I directly called to verify that we were inthe LV Tower. We request that one because it is more updated and the bathrooms are a lot bigger. The lady I spoke to confirmed our reservations. When we got there to check in on March 20, my birthday, the front desk handed us keys for the KC Tower. I told her that we had reservations for the LV Tower and I confirmed those after I made them. She was very rude and said you only get what we have available at the time. We got to the room and the couch was very very stained (as shown in the pictures) and the stand in front of the couch was full of yuck!! (Also shown in pics). I called the 1-800 number for the hotel and spoke to a gentleman and told him everything from checking in to the room and the grossness of the room. He apologized and said that I needed to call the front desk and tell them that we wanted to switch rooms and this isn’t the room we reserved. He said they are only running at 30% capacity right now so he knows they have more rooms. He said that he would put in a report of what I told them and he would send it to another department. I called down to the front desk like he told me and the lady was again very rude and said we are running at 100% capacity, so that’s a lie and we are full! She put me on hold and told about 5 minutes later came back on and said that they had a cancellation in the LV Tower (the one we originally reserved). She said it was a double bed. I told her we would take it. We went downstairs and got the new keys. The front desk lady said that the new owners are not putting any money into the rooms and they look terrible!! I showed her picks I took and went to the new room. Again, this room was disgusting. Mind you these are the “newly remodeled” rooms. The chairs are stained, the floor is stained and it is filthy. We decided that we would wait for our friends to arrive and we would make the best of the night. They were staying at the hotel as well. They checked into their rooms and they were just as bad as ours. We were all very unhappy!! It is sad that we spent that kind of money on an expensive room at a casino and it is not clean and it is very nasty with very rude people working. Needless to say, our next birthdays will not be spent at a Harrah’s Casino.
