The only reason we come out of our way to visit Harrah's North Kansas City is for the Senior BOGO Monday dinner buffet. We have been coming here for several years. Sharon is a wonderful server and the food is pretty good too. Most of the employees here are very good and make us feel welcomed. We usually spend an hour or so in the casino after dinner just to have a little fun and relaxation and do not expect to win. Sure, we almost always see someone winning a slot jackpot, but we never win anymore. The fun and entertainment value is lacking in the casino. The slots seem awefully tight these days and just like all the other casinos in Kansas City, a decline in business is obvious here as well. The casino is never very crowded anymore except on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is kind of sad to see the buffet is no longer open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays, and is closed for dinner Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. The buffet is actually the venue we enjoy most on our visits to Harrah's.
