Welcome to ’37 Steak. The name ’37 is derived from the year the very first Harrah’s was built in Reno, Nevada. The restaurant was founded out of our desire to create an atmosphere that is refined yet unpretentious, elegant yet approachable and most of all, “different”. You’ll notice in every aspect of your experience that our mission is to provide amazing moments in time for our customers by employing and engaging a service staff with exceptional product knowledge and unmatched pride in service. Do you want steak or do you want an experience? '37 Steak is not about dinner and drinks. It's an indulgence for all your senses. Irakli “BB” Jorjadze - General Manager
Jorjadze came to the United States in the mid-1990s from Georgia. After serving in many roles at restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory, Tomfooleries, Red Star Tavern and Bravo Cucina Italiana, Jorjadze joined the Cordish Company in building the Maker’s Mark Bourbon House & Lounge flagship restaurant in the Power & Light District.
Nick Estell - Executive Chef
Estell was drawn to cooking as a teen, working in kitchens at a suburban country club and chain restaurants before earning an Associate of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts and a Diplome D'Art Culinaire at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Los Angeles. Estell has worked in Kansas City with James Beard honorees Debbie Gold, Michael Smith and Celina Tio. Estell also has experience in management roles at a casino steakhouse prior to being named Executive Chef at '37 Steak.
Michael Strohm - Craft Bartender
Strohm has been working in restaurants since he graduated from high school, collecting over 15 years of experience in the industry. As he learned the business, he eventually worked his way up to bartender, and he hasn’t looked back. He has worked at Kelly’s in Westport, R Bar in the West Bottoms and the Kill Devil Club in the Power & Light District, among other well-known establishments.
