Horrible. Service is terrible. Housekeeping will ignore your “Do Not Disturb” sign and knock at 9am loudly and with an unnecessary purpose. The pictures online DO NOT represent the rooms here. If you’re placed in a room by the pool, forget sleep. Resort fees are over the top which makes it smarter to stay at one of the nicer hotels. The one nice thing I can say about this hotel is location. Nothing else. Lesson learned.

Visited Harrah's Las Vegas for a 4 night stay. We have been long-time customers of Caesar-group hotels, including Harrah's. Upon arrival, you can choose to check-in via kiosk. You will not be able to do this, however, if you booked using a companion rewards number. We stayed in the Mardi Gras tower. Others in our party stayed in the Valley Tower. Rooms and hallways were overall clean. Mardi Gras rooms are quite dated and worn. Valley tower hallways, elevators, and rooms are completely newly renovated and modern in appearance. We stayed in room 1241, which is larger in space with a couch and double balcony, but for us was the same price as the other standard-sized rooms. Rooms in this tower ending in odd numbers 01-43 have a pool/partial strip view, and small balconies in which you can stand on (not sit). Rooms closer to the 01 section of this tower are closer to the outside carnival court and will hear live music for a good portion of the day/night. This is kind of cool in the daytime (especially with your balcony door open), but perhaps not so good if you are hoping to sleep. The absolute most disappointing part of this property are the outlandish resort fees ($40 per night whether you are in a comped room or not). If you rent a car, expect to pay $15/day for self park, whether you leave each day or not, and $24/day valet. Early check in fees apply. Food is way overpriced. A 20oz bottle of water is $4. It is best to walk to Walgreens next door and buy your water there. Breakfast and lunch buffets were just average. Harrah's may argue that these fees and prices fall in line with others on the strip. Though Harrah's has kept up with rising fees and prices, they have fallen short with keeping the property updated, and you pay the same resort fees regardless of which tower you are in. One of the pros is the location.

We were staying at Harrahs for the Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament that was held there. Great central location. We also went to a couple of shows and participated at their daily slot tournament (Mon-Fri) which I won 4th place twice. YAY!!!!! The staff that run the daily slot tournament have become famiy to us as we visit quite often. Wonderful customer service from all employees we were in contact with!!!!

Walking distance to just about everything - the Fashion Outlet Mall, Sephora, dining, entertainment etc. Stayed at the newly renovated Grand Valley Tower, great room. Great service in the hotel. We have been staying at Harrahs since 1999 and are here at least once a year! Love it!
