I stayed at Harrah's because of it's proximity to the monorail (for travel to the conference center), but the hotel is in a prime Strip location as well. The room was nice and the hotel was generally good, outside of the cigarette smoking that is hard to get around in Las Vegas. It was very easy to walk to those areas that were nearby in the evening and to monorail up to the conference and back. The hotel had a breakfast area, but I didn't bother with the 45-minute wait to be seated and instead stood in line to grab a hot breakfast sandwich from the 'deli' area right next door (awesome sandwiches, by the way). The front desk staff was excellent - cheerful and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again when in Vegas.
