In town for two nights to see a concert at Caesars. The room in the Valley tower was updated and clean. No complaints. The casino had so much cigarette smoke we could not remain for very long, if you dont smoke, this is not the casino for you! At the main entrance across from The Carosel there is a very strong stench, sewer smell. It starts at the thresh hold and into the building at least a 150 feet. Quite a pleasant greeting, hey, you are in a hotel that stinks! I went and asked for guest relations, and after waiting, was basically blown off about my complaints. The representative never goes there, and blames the city even though she didnt know what I was talking about. So, I wont be back and I urge you to avoid the property. And a footnote, the TV checkout says to leave room keys in the room. Guess what, you need a room key to prove you paid for parking at the kiosk!

Be prepared to pay a daily resort fee when you stay here. I am not clear exactly what you get for that. $39.68 US is a daily charge, I think it’s a tourist tax in disguise. You will pay $12.00 a day...More

Be prepared to pay a daily resort fee when you stay here. I am not clear exactly what you get for that. $39.68 US is a daily charge, I think it’s a tourist tax in disguise. You will pay $12.00 a day for parking and if you’d like to get a $10 credit for food you can skip house keeping. Depending on which room you stay it it could be in the older tower which was fine, it’s small but did the trick as you are not in your room a lot. The front desk could use more staff as three days in a row a new key was needed and you had to wait in line each time and it did not move quickly.

I recently stayed at Harrahs while I was in town for the McGregor-Khabib fight and it was a good experience. The hotel is massive and can be a pain to walk around because of how spread out everything is. The rooms are remodeled and modern, and the amenities are very nice. The best part is the proximity to the strip and the Linq which has an excellent selection of dining options. Harrah's has limited dining options, but the Linq is just a short walk away and has everything from In-N-Out to Yard House to BBQ. The price of the room was fair considering the weekend I went was very busy due to the fight and a music festival. Harrah's location is right in the center of the strip which makes it easy to get to nightclubs, concerts, or other events. I'd give them 5 stars if their dining options were better. Taking ubers was a breeze, here's some advice, dont take an uber from the valet/taxi area because you will be subject to surge pricing, instead walk to the the backside of the employee parking and call an uber from there and you wont be in the surge pricing "las vegas strip" zone. Your uber will be $10 instead of $25. Harrahs is a great bang for buck hotel, but if you want luxury stay at Cesears (also owned by Harrah's)
