I want to assume the current state of affairs is still due to COVID. I wish we had waited until later in the year to visit. The experience sure wasn't what I was anticipating or what I had experienced in the past. There is no longer Valet service, and parking is quite far from the hotel. Thank goodness there is still a bell desk so bags can be unloaded and checked at the door. The long line to check in was less than pleasant with only two people working behind the desk. The checkin kiosks were not working for most people. The mask thing is a nightmare. Easy enough to move your mask to take a drink, but if you are a smoker you are told to replace your mask after each puff. What?! Then, walking through the casino the next day noticed at least half the patrons not wearing masks or having one in sight. Did the policy change all of a sudden? Overheard someone on staff tell a visitor that as long as they were vaccinated they didn't have to wear a mask. And don't get me started on the restaurant reservation app/clearing house! Best bet is to go directly to the restaurant that you want a reservation and make it in person. This has always been my favorite place to stay, but this trip is making me think twice. Like I said, I want to give them the benefit of still trying to navigate COVID, but some of the things we experienced were easily fixed if they want people to keep coming back. Also, there is a lack of cocktail staff on the floor, though this has always been a problem in the evenings.

1st Checked in at 9pm went to room was not a Riverview which was made on my reservations2nd Wife went to take a shower dirty and didn't work right and bath door handle broke3rd bed spread dirty and torn4th forgot my rewards card and nobody in reward services kiosks were out of order went to pit boss and he said his machine was broke too tried 3 different video machine also not working right went to room in the morning went to rewards to get a new card told him what happen and comment was oh well decided to check out and went an got a room at another casino for our next night not !!!! a Eldorado Resorts properties Multiple employs said new owner are terrible will NOT BE GOING BACK also a few other were checking out early because of there service and told me there rooms were bad too and dirty no customer service and I'm glad I wasn't paying for the room because of my pass gambling there

We took a charter. Love how they pick up & deliver luggage to your room. Every employee from front desk, slot attendants, Beach Cover restaurant, waitresses, rewards desk, were all very friendly & seemed to care about their job. Room was very clean. Only issue was the carpet on the 18th floor Central Tower hallway. Parts are held together with tape & it is very dangerous to walk on. Its an accident waiting to happen & should be fixed. We felt welcome & they did a good job. We hope to return. Also love the Colorado River & the warmth of the sun.

Every employee from front desk, slot attendants, Beach Cover restaurant, waitresses, rewards desk, were all very friendly & seemed to care about their job. Room was very clean.
