My first time here and was not all that impressed. The room itself was not too bad, but the casino wreaked of smoke. It was suffocating. They had a nonsmoking area, and we were told they would open up the tables at night. They did not open it up which made it hard to enjoy our stay. On top of that, we went to the tables to play, and we were playing one specific table game. We had played for a few hours and with about 4 or 5 different dealers with no problems. Towards the end of our last night, we had ROBERTA as our last dealer, and she was rude and disrespectful. First thing she said to my mom and I BEFORE she dealt her first hand at that table was that we needed to speak English when she heard a comment I said to my mom in our native Asian language. I looked at her in shock. She proceeded to ask if we can speak English. I said yes and my mom knew where she was going and said yes a little. After responding, ROBERTA said “well you can speak IT a little, but with this game you need to try to speak English”. I was APPALLED by the RACIST comment she made the moment she took over the table. We were at that table for a few hours already and not a single dealer we had before her told us we had to speak English to play the card game. It doesn’t make sense how my native language affects the game. ROBERTA’S RACIST comment ruined our stay. Her tone and look on her face made it appear as if she was disgusted by us for speaking our language. There are cameras everywhere, so if my native language affects the game in any way they can see that. On top of that, I have played this game at other neighboring casinos, and no employee or dealer has ever told me or my family that we needed to speak English. We will think twice before staying here next time because I refuse to stay and play at a place with someone who makes RACIAL comments like that. What ever happened to Freedom of Speech? If you are a minority, I would use caution if you choose to stay here. There was no hospitality at this place. Unless you want to be looked down upon and talked to in a condescending and rude tone, I would look elsewhere. There are plenty of other options with much better treatment. I would recommend the Don Laughlin’s Riverside Hotel/Casino. Freedom of Speech does not exist with certain employees (Roberta) at the Harrahs Laughlin.

Stayed in a lot of hotels and this is the worst. The mattress was a spring/coil mattress. Very saggy and uncomfortable. Made noise when you moved. My husband and I were supposed to get a King bed. We got 2 doubles. :( After trying to sleep for 3 hrs we gave up and decided to leave. No bellstaff when we were leaving. No one answered the front desk phone when we called.

My company sends me here once a week to stay. It use to be good years ago but last couple years it has been really bad. The worst part is check in. They usually only have 2 workers checking people in. There are 2 lines. One for there diamond club / vip and one for everyone else. They vip line gets the right away or in otherwards cuts everyone else. The problem is there is too many vip members. The vip people keep coming and you never get helped in regular line. Check in is normally 30min to an hour wait in line. Sometimes its long as 1.5-2 hours. It is very stressful standing in line for so long with only a couple people in front of you but vips keep coming and cutting you in line. Also a lot of the rooms AC / heaters dont actually work but just blow air. Other than that harras isnt to bad. Ive been trying to get my company to change where i stay though cause the check in line is always so bad.
