"The Fulton Street corridor in downtown New Orleans has become one of the busiest spots in town, and Ruth’s Chris is one of its main attractions. A local's tried-and-true meal starts with the wedge salad under a cloud of bacon and blue cheese, followed by a tender filet of corn-fed Midwestern beef. Steaks arrive on plates still sizzling. Side dishes generally satisfy the appetites of two people, and range from broccoli, potatoes or spinach au gratin to Lyonnaise potatoes with onions or sweet potato casserole with a pecan crust. For dessert, go all the way with the caramelized banana cream pie."
