Stayed at Harrah's NO for Christmas week and thought it would be helpful to clarify a few things we read before the trip based on our experience to shed light on what is true and not true. Some of these things concerned my wife but turned out to be unfounded in our view.Rooms are clean and functional. We had the suite with a connector which was a great setup. Bathrooms were clean and furniture was fine. A little dated but comparable to a mid-end Vegas or AC property (think Caesars AC older towers or Flamingo or Planet Hollywood). Perfectly fine for our needs; yours may differ. There is no housekeeping during your stay, which is common these days. They did bring us everything we needed in the way of towels, hangers, or anything else. They were a little short staffed (possibly due to holiday), but all our requests were met. Some reviews said the help was absent or unhelpful - we did not find this to be the case.Location is great, right downtown close to many attractions. There is a Ruth's Chris in the hotel, and a few restaurants in the casino. Under 21 cannot go to those. Some reviews said there were no restaurants around, which I don't agree with. Within a 10 minute walk there are numerous restaurants. 10 minute uber adds dozens more. Starbucks in the casino or a 8-10 minute walk. The mall is less than 10 minutes which has more fast restaurants. This was not an issue for us.Some reviews commented on trash pickup in the halls. Can confirm it does not appear there is daily trash pickup from the halls or common trash in the vending/ice area. On the 3rd day of our stay the trash was removed, so maybe it is a weekly or twice weekly thing. Either way, zero impact on our stay and would not classify the hotel as unkempt or anything similar.Would recommend the hotel for location and casino travelers if you want to see NO.
Very well located but in general the hotel needs to update to the modern times

The hotel has an excellent location. installations are nice and well kept, very simple it is only rooms and some conference room and fitness center. no pool or anything extra. Rooms are nice and big but we had an issue with the sink that was clogged. The bad,. this hotel and many of its kind need to start living in the modern times. charging 12 dollars for a 1.5mb internet. for only 2 devices? are we still living in 2008? If any hotel in 2022 needs to compensate for this kind of services, they should just put it in the price and rise the nightly price. it is quite annoying as a costumer to see all this extra fees for everything.

There is NO restaurant at this hotel. No room service. No nothing as far as places to eat. Yes, there are restaurants around the area, but if you play in the casino until 1:30 a.m. and are hungry afterwards, you’re out of luck. Even the casino has zero food at 1:30 a.m. A hot dog stand (!!!) was supposed to be open until 3:00 a.m., but it wasn’t, either. The lobby staff told me to use Grub Hub, which had a 55 minute delivery time. Also, the hotel has just poinsettias out as their entire Christmas decor, which is sad. The lobby ladies bathroom when we arrived was literally FILTHY. I brought it to the staff’s attention. The room was dated (peeling wallpaper and a cracked sink), but otherwise was clean. That’s the reason for 2 stars instead of zero. We stayed at the Beau Rivage last month and had none of these issues. Same with Vegas. I won’t be back here again. You can stay in many other nicer places in NOLA.
Enjoyable
