First things first. We checked in around 8PM so perhaps the best staff were not on duty. We were basically forced to utilize Valet parking as every other spot was full. We were rushed out of our car where we were once again forced to utilize another service, a bellhop. I had no interest in having someone else take possession of my luggage and being it to my room, but apparently if you use a luggage cart it can ONLY be driven by a bellhop. We checked in with the rudest person I have encountered this trip. By this point on our trip we had already stayed in 2 other hotels and 2 KOA facilities. We were given keys and I had to ask what the room number was and how to get there since there are 2 towers. We had a room on the 4th floor of the East Tower. We have a small dog and no one told us the location of the pet "rest area". Deciding to get to the room after driving for 14 hours, we really just wanted to wash up get dinner and get to sleep. Disappointed here as well, the room smelled of urine, exhausted I decided it must h e been from the previous person's dog and maybe the cleaners just didn't know it had occurred. The man showed up with our stuff and we decided to get dinner and shower afterward. The only individual that was anywhere near helpful with dining direction was the head of security. The restaurant was good, expensive for burgers and sodas but it is in a casino so it is what it is. Back to the room to shower and restful sleep. My son I formed me that the dog down the hall had been barking the entire time, 2 hours, same dog continuously barked until after 1 AM. We did manage to get some sleep after the owner returned to their room. I did my usual bed check prior to opening luggage and at least there were no creepy crawlies to be seen. I was the only one in the group to shower, because I didn't allow anyone else to get in the tub. This room was disgusting. I, thinking the smell was dog pee, I didn't want to walk on the floor with ean feet so I put a towel down and shimmied to the bed and to the bathroom then back again. When we woke in the morning I put my shoes on and began to snap pictures. The small. At have been urine but it was heavily mixed with mold. The floors must not have been cleaned at all as not only were they sticky a dingy looking, there was hair (human) and dog food bits hiding everywhere. I did find a dime on the floor and two cash out receipts in the TV cabinet, so theres something. When we finally happened upon the dog area, my husband took him to what he called a litterbox on the sidewalk. When trying to come back in he didn't have reentry access, which should have been activated when we checked in. The lady at the desk acted very confused as to what we needed when brought to her attention that he couldn't get back in. Anyway needless to say this was the all around worst experience I've had yet. Perhaps it's because I had just joined to becoming a member or because I'm not a big gambler. Not sure what rooms or staff the folks who leave good reviews experienced but ours was horrible. The mold in the A/C, the blood on the sheets, the hair on the floor or the pee stains on the hallway carpet could have been some of the problem I guess. I took more pictures but TripAdvisor only allows 10 to be added. Lastly since we were only staying a few house, no I did not approach management. I did mention the issues to the last at check out, she didn't even apologize.
