Harrahs has always been a good place for us to stop for a night. We have always had a clean room to stay and have a good time at the hotel. Usually we also find a groupon including a buffet or some kind of perk too! Recently we got a dog so after some research decided that we would rather pay a little more to stay at Harrahs vs our other option since we always had good experiences. We were wrong. While rooms here are cheap for a couple, that is not the case with a dog. Our rate this time doubled because of our dog (which we expected to pay more-not a big deal for the normal quality of the stay). In our reservations, we requested to be checked in/have our room ready around 12p and didnt arrive until 2. At 2:30 they said it would be an hour and that we would get a text as soon as the room was ready, because it needed to be cleaned. This was fine because we were going to grab lunch at the hotel. Well an hour came and went with no text. We finally went back downstairs where another lady said our room was ready. We went up to the room and to our surprise it was not half as nice as the normal room we stayed at. Then we noticed a dog barking nonstop right next door. Well we unpacked then left. We came back around 7p. As we came down the hall, the same dog next door was still barking. I called front desk and asked them to contact the owners. About 30 min later that dog stopped. An hour or 2 later someone else must have left and their dog 3 doors down started barking non-stop. I gave it over an hour before I called the front desk and 40 min later that dog stopped. The rest of the night it was fine. As dog owners we wouldnt have complained except the barking is in the contract you must sign when you checked in and we paid $50 to board our dog at an activity club all day so she would sleep and be tired. Dog owners- please be responsible if you bring your dog to a hotel. Nobody wants to go on vacation to hear other dogs bark for hours. Besides late check in and dogs barking, there was mold/mildew in the shower grout, there was a hole in the ceiling above tub that was raining sheetrock when my boyfriend took a shower, the floor tiles were sticky and we realized that the floor was so dirty our feet started turning black from walking barefoot in our room, and the room looked like it has not been swept thoroughly. It was filthy especially not under the furniture and my dog was trying to get under the close. We then realized there were dirty towels, food, and lots of dirt still under there.At the end we did get a discount on the room for all of the inconvenience but I would have much rather enjoyed the stay there. While we may give it another try hoping that it was a fluke stay, we will definitely call and request that the room be inspected before our stay so it isnt nasty. Hopefully Harrahs will take the extra money paid and start taking care of these rooms a little better.

This hotel is scheduled to close in a couple months. I know why. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. The rooms are in pitiful shape. There were stains, creases, and bubbles in the carpet. Dirt and dust in the corners. Hell, my bed sheets had holes in them. The management staff was unresponsive to most of my problems. They did change my room after multiple calls and complaints. It took several calls to finally get a response. The room they sent me to was just as bad though. The WiFi was pretty much nonexistent like the managers. This is supposed to be a Ceaser’s property. It was more like a motel 6 in the middle of the ghetto. I will never stay here again. I definitely agree it needs to close. Do not waste your time staying here. I regret staying here.

My family love to stay and play at Harrah Laughlin. Last week is the first time that I stay at Harrah's Reno for school business. We make the reservation using school credit card to cover the rooms for the trip. When we got there the hotel's register only charge our school credit card for the first day did not charge for the rest of the trip. It take them a good 10 to 15 minutes to fix it. We took our team to seafood buffer night to find out the the people who's serve the food are very rude. When I ask for a rare prime rib, the guy said that this is what we got take it or leave. He said that with the loud and mean voice. When we are asking for the warm crab legs the lady yelp at us to get the plate to her. When we come back for a second round she act very mad and gave us very small legs. When we asked for a bigger legs she toll the throw the tool away and whisper something.

Room was old and needs updating. around 12am water started dripping from a light fixture in bathroom, after an hour engineer never came to resolve issue. called front desk and had room changed. new room shower only had hot water. had to call front desk again and engineer came to resolve issue within 15 min
