Harrah's Reno
A warm hearth on a cold December motorcycle trip
Harrah's Reno

Old, worn out, and needs improvement.

Harrah's is living in the past. Rooms need to be remodeled and improved. Grand Sierra, Peppermill, and Atlantis has far way better rooms. Sportsbook and slot selection are way outdated. Only reason why we stayed in this hotel was because of comps earned from Las Vegas Caesar entertainment hotels (which are way better). Also I was gambling in the east side at of casino and only had 30 seconds to redeem my raffle prize from the west side of casino (they had announced winner on the intercom). The coordinator of the Gift Card Raffle wouldn't let me claim my prize for being late 5-10 seconds. Which i find ridiculous. As a Diamond member I felt shafted after being overwhelmed by false excitement. Needless to say, I am done with Harrah's in Reno.

I decided to stop and see Reno on the journey that I was making from New York to California. It was the last night I’ll be on the road so I decided to stop in Reno. I arrived much later than Planned. I had aa reservationfor the night. I arrived and I self parked. The garage is large with poor signage to get to hotel. My check in was very robotic unfriendly but efficient. The desk clerk didn’t even smile. The gift shop is extremely expensive. My room was on the 14 the floor very nice but very cold heat was awful. The room was clean not enough light on lamp and one floor lamp . The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels along with small shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I am not a real gambler the casinos cute small but nice the staff was not friendly anywhere except to the lady in the gift shop it was funny and pleasant. I don’t know if I go back to Reno it was an impressive
