We stayed at this location for my birthday this past weekend and were greatly disappointed. We requested an early check in which we were told would be acceptable and we also called prior to arriving and they said yes to come in, to find out our room wasn't ready until after 4pm. We finally get our keys and go up to our room to find out they gave us keys to an already occupied room. The room was nice, my wife booked the Dive Inn Palomar Suite because it had the oversized bathtub, and the room was huge! To our dismay, while in the bathtub, maintenance knocks on our door saying the tub is leaking to the room below. They advised us we would be moved/upgraded so we could continue to use the tub. The next day, we hadn't heard anything, so we used the tub again and here is maintenance knocking on the door. Again, we were told we'd be moved/upgraded. We didn't hear anything and when we asked the front desk, they simply said 'no rooms available, just avoid using the bathtub'. It was very rude and unprofessional, we paid over $600 specifically for this room because of the bathtub and nobody seemed to care we did so. We stay at Harrah's in Las Vegas all the time and always love the resort. We stayed here once, and it was an awful experience. For the amount of money we spent here, something should have been done to accommodate us, not just saying 'don't use the tub'.

Where to even start...Once I arrived at the hotel and was checking in, the staff member who was a Charger's fan was friendly and nice. The room [itself was clean but had no amenities (water, coffee, etc)..It didn't even have a microwave. On top of that the maids didn't service the room. If you wanted clean sheets or additional towels, you had to call housekeeping. Wi-fi was $13 a day. None of this i was told in advance. Also, there was no heat. When I went gambling, and I spent over $3,000...there was a duplication of withdrawal on my account, I tried explaining this to the night cashier supervisor. She didn't listen and was VERY rude. It was not until the next day that I was able to speak to an intelligent supervisor that is trying to resolve the issue. I still haven't received a call back from the billing dept.I was hoping for a fun birthday. This experience was anything but.....

The south tower room king bed was nice, but found that the room is dark and not enough lights. The TV projection was also darker and could not be adjusted for brightness and contrast as I had to shut off room lights to view the TV clearer. No coffee maker was a disappointment. The room and bathroom was spacious and more brighter that the room. Bed was firm and comfortable. Another disappointment is that you cannot open the window or even crack open the window to let natural air into the room. If I shut off the AC/Heater fan, there is a tint of a smell that was not pleasant so we had the fan on auto and sometimes it get cold. However, the thermostat controls are adjustable and we were very please with that opportunity to make temperature adjustments. As for amenities, it was nice to have soap/shampoo dispenser located on the wall of the showers. The bath towels are thin and disappointing. We had the room facing the front of the resort which is nice. You can see the front entry way with the fountains and the mountains. Casino floor had just enough slots and tables, but it could use a few more. the covered garage is easy and convenient as you will use the elevator that takes you directly to the casino/lobby floor without you having to walk outside. Using the valet is more convenient as you can access the lobby check-in counter quicker. As for the check-in staff, I will give their service a "3" as the staff person was not very welcoming and didn't offer any welcome gestures and no recommendations to any service of the resort. Compare to Silver Legacy in Reno, also a Caesar's property, Reno gets a "5"! However, the restaurants and casino floor staff were excellent. As for restaurants in the resort, it needs a Japanese (sushi) or Korean restaurant (maybe AYCE or reg).
