Booked a 2 queen pool view and that's exactly what we got. The woman at check in didn't seem like she wanted to be there. The room is in need of a renovation, however it was clean. The bathroom has a lovely soaking tub with a separate shower stall. The bathroom is pretty big. There is a separate toilet stall. The room is very spacious. I like that we could open the slider to get some fresh air. The music to the pool starts playing at 8 am, but we love it!! We had a lovely view of the pool area. Housekeeping is wonderful, promptly brought us fresh towels and whatever else we needed. They don't clean your room the whole time you are there but that's ok with us. There is a small dorm size fridge however it froze my husband's eye medicine so we had to find a Rite Aid and get a new prescription and buy a small cooler to keep his meds in...HUGE inconvenience!! We had the fridge on the lowest setting but it didn't matter. There was something gross and sticky when we got off the elevator and it stayed there the 5 nights we were there...totally gross. The pool is great. We basically had it to ourselves. We were disappointed that the pool bar was not open so we had to buy drinks at Rita's which were watered down and not worth the money...neither was the food. Our tacos were soggy and not much flavor, for 50 bucks!!! for food and another 30 for two very small drinks. The taco truck seemed to be better. Smashburger...well we waited 15 minutes for a cashier to take our order (there was only 3 people in line) so it wasn't like the line was out the door. Finally got to give my order and the cashier had the nerve to ask for a tip!!!! WTF??!! The firepit in the courtyard wasn't working so I asked the bartender if someone could turn it on and she said it's been broken for a long time and not sure when it's going to be fixed. Well that sucked. Hell's Kitchen was awesome. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. The bartender Scott was the best. If you have the chance, go sit at the bar and ask for Scott..you won't be disappointed. The food was spectacular. We were disappointed in our trip this time but Hell's Kitchen and Scott made our last night there something to remember.
