I've stayed at so many Caesar's Rewards properties, it's hard not to compare this one to the others....very friendly employees, but perhaps lacking in quantity in some places. I didn't feel like there were a lot of servers on the floor which I can take if there's a beverage machine for sodas and the like, I didn't spot one. Restaurants seemed a bit light on service, pool was either short on staff or very slow, the only place that felt like it was appropriately staffed was check in/out (thank goodness). The rooms were nice, but it's hard for me not to compare and make comments. In our room in the Dive Tower, you could see things starting to show some age. It reminded me a bit of Harrah's Phoenix pre-renovations, which I also enjoyed quite a bit, but was due for a bit of touch up and received it. Also, maybe it was just our visit but apparently hot water takes a bit which seems so wasteful in any area where water is at a premium as I understand it. Casino itself was nice, we had spent the day prior to arrival in Vegas so I didnt see many games unique to the property, but did see a lot of people winning which is always a good sign, not always big hits, but compared to a property where you see nobody winning, a good sign. Again, not a lot of beverage servers it seems. Restaurants were more miss than hit for me. They aren't terrible, but again, compared to some other concepts on other properties, nothing to write home about (I am told the Taco Truck is better when one employee who is usually there is present, she was not there this past Sunday which, again, I am told, was probably the cause of some slowness)The pool, or should I say pools are stellar and I really do appreciate the over 21 area, although I could have done without the pool volleyball net. Lots of umbrellas, which I love. I'm told the heat we experienced while there is not necessarily common which explains my appreciation for the free umbrellas and staff was more than helpful moving them for customers who asked. Food and beverage service poolside however was not stellar, it seemed like they were doing one order at a time which makes no sense to me at all. Bar service was better at the Tiki Hut. Lazy river was quite enjoyable. This is maybe just a notch below Ak Chin for me and on par with a lot of the Vegas properties, although just slightly above their sister Vegas property because of the pool. As this property changes over time, which all casinos are, it will be interesting to watch. Just a few general last comments.........the communication from the "host" staff was excellent, texted upon check in asking if I had questions and quick responses to my texts. Wish they offered a triangle tour with car rental. Would love to do a Phoenix/Vegas/Funner trip all in one!
