Gambling area was frequently cleaned and social distancing being in place. Bathrooms stalls can use a bit of updating. Beds always comfy. Definitely will return.

We came on a family trip and stayed at Harrah’s because we got comped and chose this hotel over Harvey’s because of the indoor pool. We have stayed at 3-4 different Harrah’s as well as most other Caesar’s properties. The one in Tahoe is definitely the most dated and in need of a remodel. It was clean for the most part, but carpets were worn and plumbing was an issue. Staff was good and took care of issues we had. Some of the issues I had were a lack of dining options inside the hotel and table game minimums. Weekday mornings the Blackjack minimum was $15 and Craps was $25. That’s right, $25 on a Wednesday morning at 9am. I thought that was ridiculous. I would probably stay here again if I came with kids. I would probably stay at Harvey’s without kids, mostly because of the pool.

This was a comped stay promo with resort fees of $28.60 per day still needing to be paid. When i first checked in, the room i arrived at has one of the toilets backed up. The first maintenance guy could not clear it so they brought in 2 mechanics with machines. The second attempt failed. The third attempt finally succeeded but left permanent scars in the toilet bowl :P. There was no housekeeping or room service available due to Covid protocols. Minor things, cushion on couch was ripped and there were dents in the wall. Beds were fine and comfortable. The charging station on the phone did not work. The family next door to us had kids that were very loud and jumping around a lot.

They offered free parking. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Room was outdated, but clean and comfortable with 2 bathrooms. Gambling was bleak. Lowest table for blackjack was $15 but if you get up really early, you MAY find a $10.00 Blackjack table. Dealers and waitresses are nice. Free drinks are served if your playing. They are serious about mask. When seated at a table game, you must step away to take a sip of your drink.... your mask can NEVER be down while seated at the table. Plan on eating in your room or a quick grab and go place like fat burgers. ALL restaurants require reservations and because they are at 25% capacity, reservations are hard to get. I would suggest making lots of reservations well in advance of your trip.... then cancelling if you need to. Fat burgers have great burgers and fries! There’s a pub cattycorner from harrahs that has amazing pulled pork nachos and cozy warm fire tables. We lucked into one for lunch and it was amazing! There are 4 casinos in close proximity: harrahs, Harvey’s, hard rock, mont bleu... all just steps from each other. Heavenly village and the gondola are a short block away. Gondola rides to heavenly base camp are included with lift ticket but we prefer Sierra at Tahoe....So much cheaper and much friendlier slopes for beginners. Rally’s grocery store is just a short walk from harrahs (maybe 3 city blocks) and a great option for munchies and healthy options. Behind Harrahs and neighboring hotels is a wonderful place for the littles to play in the snow and on sleds. There is even an area where you can borrow a sled!
