First time we stayed in Harrah's hotel as they're always booked or kinda expensive. As we got 2 nights comps this time. I like the room as its huge with big sofa, 2 bathrooms his and hers. Our room with a view of lake and mountain. Front desk employees are very gracious and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again next time.

Wifi Review:The wifi download speed is 1.25 Megabit per second and the upload speed is 0.27 Megabits per second. The wifi's "basic package" for $14.99 is way to slow to be considered "basic", its more like feces/garbage. I haven't tried their "premium package", but its eight dollars more for a total of $23.00. The best part is that you have to pay those wifi prices every day, unless you have their daily package included with your trip, but honestly their wifi is feces/garbage. In addition, they have no ethernet port on the wall to connect my computer to their ethernet, so I was using a wireless connection when I tested everything and wrote this review.Bathrooms Review:My room had two bathrooms, and both had the European toilets. Meaning these are much lower than your typical American/USA toilets, which I didn't like. If you're going to have two bathrooms, than why not make one of the toilets an American toilet just incase your guests are Americans. In addition, the sinks for both bathrooms, were way to low for comfort, and I'm a pretty tall guy. Also a warning to anyone over 6 feet and 4 inches in height, both the bathrooms are not suitable for anyone over that height, so you have to constantly bend down just to be able to even stand in the bathrooms if you are over this height.Eating/Food Places Review:Their are only three food places in the food court. Those places are Fat Burger, a no name pizza place that charges six dollars a slice (the pizza was too oily even though it was pepperoni I bought), and a no name Asian place. By no name I mean they are not popular places, like Mcdonalds and etc. I haven't been to the restaurants, but I believe the restaurants have good food. I personally recommend going outside the Casino to eat, because their are not many options in this Casino. The Room:The thermometer in my room does not work. I tried changing the temperature, but it kept on going back to 72 degrees Fahrenheit, after a minute. Its a pretty big room, and it has various lighting options, but the lights above the beds making a buzzing sound when turned on. In addition, the TV is really small, and the brightness on my TV was really low for some reason. I tried fixing it with the remote, but like all Casino's they don't let you do that. Also the TV has no Chromecast support, so I recommend you bring your smart device in order to have a smart TV, because their TV is old. Speaking of old, their whole room is really old fashioned in style. I honestly didn't like the room's old looking style.Anything Else Bad Review:They don't give water for free, so you would have to go get ice from the machine and let it melt in order to have free water. You can also always ask the workers that come around when you are playing a slot machine to give you water, but thats pretty garbage. I wish I could just refill my water bottles somewhere, but now I have to either constantly repay for water, or work hard just to get some water. Warning bring a ton of water so you don't pay for it.

For 200$ baseline a night I expected more. Had to pay extra for wifi, and a fridge. No microwave to heat up leftovers. Wooden furniture looked worn and needed a new paint job. The casino service was mediocre. Me and my girlfriend played slots for 3 hours and never got any drinks. When asked for some the server told us to ask somebody else who wasn't responsible for our area. Overall a disappointing trip.
This is the worst Harrahs property!

I’m a diamond plus member at Caesars so it goes without saying that I am a frequent patron of Caesar’s properties. This was my first visit to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe and it was horrible. The hotel is extremely dated. They say they updated the rooms but other than the carpet I don’t see it. The hallway smelled so bad from wet carpet. I think everyone on the floor was a pot smoker. Not against it just don’t do it on your room since it is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. You can only use your rewards card at the cafe. All other restaurants are 3rd party. Just an all around bad trip. So bad that before I left home in this trip, I received an offer for free airfare and hotel included to this location starting in January. I have every intention of throwing it in the trash when I get home. Horrible trip.

Checked in last night (10/31/2020) for one night to see if we liked the hotel enough to book a couple more nights. I am SO glad I only booked one night there because we left at 8am the next morning. We were in a dated, musty, smelly room, and seriously creeped out putting our personal belongings on any surface. Old furnishings, dingy room, stained carpet. I was disappointed in the room. I am sure the room was nice, in 1992. It also probably smelled much better in 1992. If you’re offered room 1337, DO NOT accept it. Shockingly, I was told that this room was considered an “upgrade” from the front desk employee upon our check in. If that’s true, I can’t imagine what condition our original booked room would have been! Yikes. Also, I could’ve booked the room for less on a 3rd party site but booked direct instead, hoping for better room placement. Should’ve saved the $35 and booked through a 3rd party. PS- we zipped our luggage up as soon as we took out clothing so the quirky, old, dirty, musty smell would not seep into our clean clothes. 😳 Yes, it’s really that bad. The room is smoke-free but smells of old smoke.
