Stayed here for 4 nights. Requested a view of the lake when checking in, which was granted but had to wait for a clean room to become available. It was definitely worth it for an awesome lake view. The room was clean, yes outdated but acceptable. I enjoyed having a his and hers bathroom! I think it's the best part of having a room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe! All the employees wore masks and I can tell the employees were a bit overworked. They didn't seem happy to be there. Interestinly, the hotel only does temperature checks of people checking in at front desk...not everyone in the party is checked. Also, no one coming into the casino is checked for temperature. There were no temp checks at any of the restaurants either. This is quite different from California. The Starbucks in the lobby is overpriced compared to the Starbucks down the street. The food options were rather limited but it was sufficient. We dined at Friday's Grill and the cafe. Both were adequate. The food court was ok too. Our best meal was off property at an authentic Italian restaurant Capisce that was recommended by our Uber driver. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Heavenly Gondola, which is the main reason we chose this hotel. We went snowboarding while there, and it is an easy walk from the hotel. There are many options to eat at the Heavenly Village, though during covid, it is currently all take out on the California side. On the Nevada side (hotel), all sit down restaurants require a reservation for dine-in.
