I had reservations for there on Sept 9th. I purchased travel insurance and will get a refund (my wife had a health issue last week). The fact that they are not even addressing that the entire Lake Tahoe Basin has been declared a huge health hazard.No mention of it on their website, nothing about it anywhere. Business as usual for these money grubbing crooks.

Save your money just go to the hard rock . Better rooms , better service . Lower rates . This hotel (Harvey’s ) is a joke . Don’t do it .

Signs posted throughout the casino that face masks are required. However probably more than 50% of the people were not wearing masks nor did the employees ask people to put on the masks. Have to give...More

Have to give kudos to Cherokee Valley River for making sure all guests and employees wear masks for everyone's safety. Plus the smoke from the California fires was absolutely horrific you couldn't even go outside it was so bad. On Sunday we couldn't even eat on the lower-level restaurants because the smoke was so terrible. we had to eat our food inside the room

We stayed at Harrah's Lake Tahoe for three nights in August, 2021. The room was clean, but so very dated. The tops of the desk and other furniture was cracked and bubbling - I amsurprised that the management has let things get so bad. Decor was faded and old - honestly, we could have been in a cheap roadside no-tell motel by the looks of the room. We won't be staying here again. We were told that due to Covid protocols, there was no maid service during out entire stay. However when we stayed in Reno, we did get maid service. Same state, different protocols??

This hotel is just ok which I was willing to live with. However at the front desk there was a lady named Azalea who was full of attitude and very rude to me and my wife. We spent hundreds of dollars for a short stay so we expected to at least get a decent treatment but Azalea was incredibly awful to us and I can’t describe the upsetting feeling when you’re trying to be a polite customer and the front desk lady (Azalea) is extremely rude and disrespectful to you. Hotel management should take action with rude employees like her because I definitely will not come to this hotel again because of her.
