I know Harrah's will see this and the generic excuses/response isn't good enough. That being said this trip place during July 3rd thru July 6th.Let me say this was my first and last visit, it was during COVID-19 and my room was FREE. There was no valet (no problem), there was 1 bellman (Mr. Tony) who was OVER WORKED!!! They take your temp if you go to the check in desk otherwise they don't. The check in was SLOW even with 3 clerks working. No Diamond or Seven Stars check in line due to COVID-19 (I understand). The room - the view was hands down the best part about the room and the 2 bathrooms was a plus. Now for the rest, the plantation shutters were so dusty how could this room really have been sanitized. In the shower only bathroom there was an open bar of soap which didn't come from my family. Also if you are tall you will feel the toilets are VERY LOW. The refrigerator and coffee maker have been removed because of COVID-19 ( I knew this ahead of time just lettingpotentialguest know). Also the bellman cannot come into your room so the luggage is left right outside your door but they make sure you are there to receive it. Upon check out, you have to leave your luggage outside your door and the bellman knocks to let you know they are picking it up. There is no housekeeping but they text you and you handle all room related requests this way. The internet is free for Diamond members but it's only good for 2 devices at a time. 2 more devices = $9.99 & the "good" internet is $23.99/device!!! So for a family of 4 and every using a device that would cost $20 if you are not a Diamond member or above and $10 if you are a Diamond member. Fyi - Playstation or Xbox works good on the $23.99 internet. Steaming movies late at night worked well on the basic/cheaper internet. Pool - there is an indoor pool and because of COVID-19 there is a limit of 18 people at a time. If they are at the limit you can be added to the waiting list and they will call you when it is your turn. I actually liked this. Dining - The River Cafe had great food and really good service. They kept customers socially distant and our server Rachael was excellent. The food was delicious and filling. The desserts could use some help they were meh and the shakes were not so great. There was plenty of staff for cleaning and to give you the feeling of safety while dining in. The arcade was too busy on Saturday night, July 4th. No social distancing at all so we came back on Sunday and it was practically empty so completely socially distant.
