When we talked to "ivy" their text service, nothing changed. Spa was down all week for repairs...was told we would get a call for our check in...never happened. hHowever the bell desk and valet service were top notch! They are amazing with their service etc, valet is worth every penny.

This hotel works well if you want to be in South Lake Tahoe on a budget and direct access to the casinos, shops, and restaurants. The beds are always clean, but a few times they've given us a room that needs the bathrooms cleaned. The staff is always quick to respond, and we end up with freshly-cleaned bathrooms! Harvey's is connected to the Harrah's via a tunnel, so you've access to both hotels. It's also next to the Hard Rock Hotel, and across the street fromt he rest of the shops. You're only a few blocks away from the Lake - completely within walking distance. Good location, low price - win, win. One might say it's very practical.
Run, don’t walk away. Disgustingly filthy.

200 characters is NOT enough for a full review - see yelp. We suggest you find other lodging. We stayed two nights @ $350.00 per night - plus taxes, etc. It was unbelievably filthy. First two FYI’s; rooms do not have microwaves or coffee makers - only coffee available is downstairs at Starbucks where a Venti latte is $7.35.That’s fine, however the problem we had was with the poor condition and lack of cleanliness in the room. * Chairs were covered with stains. Nasty white stains...yuck. So dirty that when we put a towel over them when it was removed it had dirt marks all over it.* The furniture was old, scratched, and falling apart - drawers had to be finagled to open and close. All pieces should be updated. Both beds squeaked so that every time you moved it made a sound. Every time! * The sheets were thin, itchy, and one set was torn. Yes, torn in a $350.00 per night suite. The pillows were so mismatched that you had either extremely hard or overly soft (they stunk too). Very cheap bedding.* Refrigerator didn’t work and was on a roller.* The carpets didn’t appear to have been cleaned in a loooong time - our socks were black after only a couple hours.* The bathroom. Wow, we’re to begin? Okay, the hair dryer didn’t work...fortunately I had brought my own; housekeeping did not clean the floors, shower - in what was a moldy smelly stall - toilet, mirrors, and the "towels" were disgustingly dirty - don’t think they had been washed - they had little holes and were frayed; the rust on the window trim was appalling; ceiling was hanging down - peeling off.* The hallway needed floors/carpets cleaned and repaired - tripping hazards throughout. * The elevator had a ceiling tile hanging down and gum on the floor - had been there a while. * Only good thing about this stay was the buffet. Nice variety, well stocked, and tasty.
