We had an excellent time staying at Harvey's. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and had a beautiful view of both Heavenly and Lake Tahoe. We ate at restaurants at Harvey's and Harrahs. The food was delicious. We played in the Casino and had a great time. Everyone at Harvey's were helpful and nice. Can't wait for our next trip. Will definitely stay at Harveys.

Harveys Lake Tahoe
So the pros. It’s close to Lake Tahoe. It’s not dirty. It is a place to stay. The cons. The price that is listed does not include $75 per night “resort fee”. (Approximate) What does the resort...More

So the pros. It’s close to Lake Tahoe. It’s not dirty. It is a place to stay. The cons. The price that is listed does not include $75 per night “resort fee”. (Approximate) What does the resort fee cover? That’s a good question, because there are no amenities here. Mini-fridge, no. Coffee maker, no. Torn, threadbare carpet. Yes. View of the rusting air conditioners, instead of Lake Tahoe. YES. The casino itself lacks any redeeming value. I gave it two stars, because it wasn’t unsafe, but my money would be better spent in many other places.

The room was ok but the location was terrible. I was placed in the room area for pets, dogs were continually barking. Never again. I was charged an additional $100 as a resort fee after paying a hefty additional tax for something. Room was advertised as $41 a night, I paid over $300 for three nights.
Lazy manager

Room was “newer” but definitely lipstick on a pig. Stayed in remodeled Tahoe tower and the room had a strong smell of mildew (again lipstick on a pig). Parking was an absolute fiasco, took three...More

Room was “newer” but definitely lipstick on a pig. Stayed in remodeled Tahoe tower and the room had a strong smell of mildew (again lipstick on a pig). Parking was an absolute fiasco, took three times of going to the front desk to get a manager to actually program my keys correctly. Agents were less than eager to assist, very confused why keys weren’t working (parking is a big issue here, beware!) Property has little to no amenities, restaurants close early, and desk is always short staffed. Maybe pay your employees a little more? They really didn’t seem at all happy to be there. The world is going through a labor shortage by Harvey’s really milks that excuse. Would have given more than one star but the hotel manager, Justin I think was his name, was fiddling around on his computer/phone with a full line at the desk. Very inappropriate managerial behavior, maybe he should help check guests in when busy but you can tell he’s more worried about the big game than his job.
