Type of Activity
Our community partners help us maximize our economic and social impact in the Baltimore area. Through these collaborations, we come together to make a difference in our city.
Project 100 Percent
The casino adopted four struggling Baltimore City schools to help throughout the coming years. For James McHenry Elementary School, team members volunteered to give the portable classrooms for preschool students a fresh coat of paint. Horseshoe Baltimore rebuilt another school’s library, has donated books and clothes, and has held hiring events for those students' families.
Associated Black Charities
Associated Black Charities is a public foundation that advocates and facilitates the creation of measurably healthier and more prosperous communities through responsible leadership and philanthropic investment throughout the State of Maryland.
Paul’s Place provides a range of needed services for low-income and homeless adults and children. Horseshoe Baltimore team members brought this potential partnership to management and started a long-lasting connection. Horseshoe team members now come together several times a year to volunteer to sort clothing, serve hot lunches, and provide additional assistance. Throughout the year, the casino also holds clothing and supply drives that directly benefit Paul's Place.
