Type of Activity
Our community partners help us maximize our economic and social impact in the Baltimore area. Through these collaborations, we come together to make a difference in our city.
The 100% Project
The 100% Project is dedicated to getting every underserved Baltimore student to college. Horseshoe has partnered with this program by adopting four schools, most notably James McHenry Elementary School and Mary Rodman Elementary School. Over the years, Horseshoe Baltimore has painted portable classrooms, rebuilt a library, planted a community garden, collected books and clothing donations, held teacher happy hours, held hiring events for student families, donated holiday turkeys to families, and hosted a cooking lesson with Giada de Laurentiis herself!
Horseshoe Baltimore is proud to partner with the local YMCA to support a number of diverse initiatives throughout the year, directly benefiting the most underprivileged of Baltimore's families and youth. From food drives to field trips, Horseshoe Baltimore is there!
Associated Black Charities
Associated Black Charities is a public foundation that advocates and facilitates the creation of measurably healthier and more prosperous communities through responsible leadership and philanthropic investment throughout the State of Maryland.
Paul’s Place provides a range of needed services for low-income and homeless adults and children. Horseshoe team members started this partnership and it's become a part of the casino culture of giving. Horseshoe volunteers serve lunch, sort clothing donations, and host supply drives to support this great organization.
