Property Feature
Horseshoe Baltimore supports the Baltimore community’s economic development by investing in workforce development, hiring locally, and working with local vendors.

Workforce Development
We provide ongoing support to MOED’s Employment Connection Center, offering job seekers computer skills, interview preparedness, and other valuable career support. We have a dedicated Community Employment Coordinator who provides coaching to city residents interested in applying for jobs and connecting residents with the Employee Connection Center and other available programs.

Local Hiring
Over 60% of the casino’s 1,400 team members reside in the city of Baltimore. We hold recruitment events throughout Baltimore and partner with many local organizations to offer job opportunities to more local residents.

Revitalizing the Southern Gateway
Horseshoe Baltimore is working to create a pedestrian-friendly corridor along Warner Street. To kick off development, we recently announced that Topgolf is opening a golf emporium which will open in 2020, which is estimated to attract 500,000 visitors a year, and employ 500 workers.

Mayor's Office of Employment Development (MOED)
Horseshoe Baltimore provides sole financing for the Employment Connection Center (ECC), operated in partnership with MOED, to provide workforce training. To date, it has served more than 2,500 individuals, conducted nearly 3,500 job readiness activities and placed 600 individuals within jobs with various employers throughout Baltimore.
