casino
limited variety of machines
voucher redemption machines do not gave coins when cashing in
casino escalators not working
only one elevator working in casinoOut dated interior and slot machines.Slot machines weren’t paying and you couldn’t play for very long. very slow and difficult to get beverage service
service refused at bar - told to get a server
Beverage servers seemed to take quite a while and got huffy when they thought they deserved more than a dollar tip. Beverage service was so slow that I went to the casino bar (on third level) where I was refused service and told to “get a server”.
signs of decay and deterioration everywhereSaw several people who behaved as if they were on crystal meth or had some psychological disorder (muttering incoherently to themselves and spastically jerking/twitching/scratching). They walked past security personnel and security never even looked at them. Security didn’t seem to mind.Saw one ‘creeper’ in the casino searching waste bins for unfinished bottles of beer and discarded penny vouchers. Then he wandered around the ATMs and slots looking for abandoned/unguarded vouchers. He actually came over to me while I was playing and said, “Give me two dollars.” I refused and he went back to his voucher search checking every machine as he went. Security didn’t seem to notice or care about him pan-handling inside the casino. You can expect these things in Louisiana. Common every-day occurrence in Shreveport/Bossier City. Prepare yourself and expect this kind of stuff.staff
