Stayed 3 nights, checking in June 28 and checking out July 1. The hotel rooms are not serviced while you are there. Hang up your towels, make up your bed, no coffee pot, etc. But you can leave all your stuff scattered around the room. No one is going to mess with it. Just like you are back home. We did have a problem with the safe in our room, low battery light. No one answers the front desk phone there. Went down and told check in Lady. She said we had to be out of the room, and they would send someone up to fix it. It is now handled this way because of the Covid-19. We tried explaining to her that in Las Vegas, you have to be in the room. She said it is done different now. About 3 hours later the safe is not fixed. Talked to check in Lady again, now she says we have to be in our room. We told that's what we tried to tell her earlier. Anyway, finally got hold of Brandy the Security Supervisor and she sent a man up, while we were waiting in the room. Course he had to go back down to get a battery. The Security Guards check your temperature, and hand you a mask on entering the casino. The security guards patrol the casino floor making sure everyone is wearing a mask. They will tell you to put your mask back on if you are lax. Smokers tend to keep it off for long smoke brakes. Saw the Security Guards have to remind some more than others. They seem to do a good job handling this situation, though. This is for every ones protection!Sunday evening around 9 pm, the only restaurant open was the 8 OZ Burger Bar. (And it costs double your points) Jasmine's Noodle Bar closes early on Sunday. Wished there were more choices to eat. We went to Horseshoe for the 5X Tier Score and 5X Reward credits being offered, for the 3 days we were there. That was a good deal.Ate at Jack Binion's Steak House on Tuesday, June 30. That was the highlight of our trip to Horseshoe! Jarvis greeted us like old friends, and asked how everything was going. He really wanted to make sure you we had an enjoyable evening. For our meal we shared a Garden Salad, and both had the Filet Mignon and Baked Potato. Everything was delicious! Jarvis and his assistant waiter provided the best service at any of the Jack Binion's Steak Houses we have dined at. Will be asking for Jarvis next time we dine in Bossier City.

This used to be such a nice hotel. The rooms are still okay but much seems worn. The used to have Gold Suites with jacuzzi tubs. No more. Buffets are closed. Check-in staff were pleasant but those in other areas were not, cutting in front of you on elevators, talking in groups, ignoring guests, etc. Not as welcoming as experience as usual. Room was okay, two drawers open for some reason on check-in. Probably won’t be back any time soon.

My wife and are from near San Antonio and decided to just pack and getaway on the spur of the moment. Didnt even know where we were going to go, but we ended up near Shreveport/Bossier and called to see if we could get a room when we were 15 minutes away. They had a room but only a smoking room available. They gave us a great rate based on my previous play at other Ceasar resorts (and no! I am not a high roller). I had not been to the area in years and was so pleasantly surprised at how it has improved. The hotel was gorgeous. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Yes! Things were a little different due to virus precautions but it was not enough to kill the fun. This place has a great pool. Small but gorgeous. Great restaurants. Not all were open but the food we had was great. Casino drink service was solid. Their waitresses were slightly overworked during the Saturday night rush but they tried hard to keep up and make everyone happy. The casino staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We did have to switch rooms after the first night and get out of the smoking room but that was not their fault. It was our last minute planning. The positive is that the front desk staff was so kind and helpful in trying to make sure we were happy and moved to a non smoking room. We will definitely be back!

It's been years since I reviewed this place, yet I come here every year. This last time was during COVID. Check in was easy with no line, and some very friendly desk agents. The room is nothing major, comfortable bed, oversize bath, HD tv, good wifi, etc. But be warned that right now there is no in room coffee maker (and more importantly to me, not cups or glasses). I don't drink coffee much, so the coffee wasn't an issue, but just a glass or cup for water would have been nice. The Burger Bar will give you a cup if you ask the right person (I imagine housekeeping might also). Also note, if you are staying long there is no housekeeping daily service, but you can get extra towels if needed Even though I only used two towels my stay I put them all on the floor to make sure the next person got fresh clean towels. There's no valet parking right now, and games in the casino are limited (man I need poker), and note the restaurant times...right now there's no 24 hour service. Anyway, it's still a good place.
