Stayed 3 nights, checking in June 28 and checking out July 1. The hotel rooms are not serviced while you are there. Hang up your towels, make up your bed, no coffee pot, etc. But you can leave all your stuff scattered around the room. No one is going to mess with it. Just like you are back home. We did have a problem with the safe in our room, low battery light. No one answers the front desk phone there. Went down and told check in Lady. She said we had to be out of the room, and they would send someone up to fix it. It is now handled this way because of the Covid-19. We tried explaining to her that in Las Vegas, you have to be in the room. She said it is done different now. About 3 hours later the safe is not fixed. Talked to check in Lady again, now she says we have to be in our room. We told that's what we tried to tell her earlier. Anyway, finally got hold of Brandy the Security Supervisor and she sent a man up, while we were waiting in the room. Course he had to go back down to get a battery. The Security Guards check your temperature, and hand you a mask on entering the casino. The security guards patrol the casino floor making sure everyone is wearing a mask. They will tell you to put your mask back on if you are lax. Smokers tend to keep it off for long smoke brakes. Saw the Security Guards have to remind some more than others. They seem to do a good job handling this situation, though. This is for every ones protection!Sunday evening around 9 pm, the only restaurant open was the 8 OZ Burger Bar. (And it costs double your points) Jasmine's Noodle Bar closes early on Sunday. Wished there were more choices to eat. We went to Horseshoe for the 5X Tier Score and 5X Reward credits being offered, for the 3 days we were there. That was a good deal.Ate at Jack Binion's Steak House on Tuesday, June 30. That was the highlight of our trip to Horseshoe! Jarvis greeted us like old friends, and asked how everything was going. He really wanted to make sure you we had an enjoyable evening. For our meal we shared a Garden Salad, and both had the Filet Mignon and Baked Potato. Everything was delicious! Jarvis and his assistant waiter provided the best service at any of the Jack Binion's Steak Houses we have dined at. Will be asking for Jarvis next time we dine in Bossier City.
