Horseshoe Hammond Health and Safety Plan

The following is an overview of our daily operation plan that focuses on the guest experience and teammate interaction.

In addition to the specifics listed below, signage will be placed at each entrance as well as throughout the property to promote social distancing, usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), frequent handwashing and hand sanitation use.

General Protocols

For the well-being of our guests and team members, employees have been trained on cleaning and disinfectant techniques, including use of PPE, protocols for all surfaces and tracking cleaning schedules. We are facilitating recommended social distancing guidelines throughout the property, and the presence of hand sanitizer stations have been increased across each area.

Team Members 

  • Prior to reporting to work all Team Members are required to take and pass a health evaluation.     
  • Before each shift all Team Members will be required to have their temperature checked.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be conveniently located for frequent use.
  • All Team Members will be trained on proper cleaning and disinfecting protocols and informed of proper PPE requirements. 
  • Team Members who are unwell or symptomatic will be directed to stay home. 
  • Work areas and common areas have been rearranged to follow proper social distancing guidelines. 

Guests 

  • Government issued photo identification will be required upon entry into the casino.
  • All guests will be required to have their temperature checked via thermal scanners before entering the property.
  • Guests are required to answer questions pertaining to potential COVID-19 exposure that will require a verbal answer. Based on responses, guests may not be permitted access to the property.
  • Our team will be frequently cleaning high-touch areas throughout the property.
  • Signage and floor markers will be placed throughout the property to clearly indicate social distancing measures.
  • In addition to our designated non-smoking areas on our Casino floor, smoking will not be permitted at any Table Games.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be conveniently located for frequent use.
  • Occupancy has been reduced and there may be wait times to enter the casino.
  • No more than three (3) individuals will be permitted on any elevator at any time.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be conveniently located for frequent use.
  • Social distancing of six (6) feet for patrons not traveling together will be expected in all areas.
  • ALL guests will be asked to temporarily remove their mask for identification purposes.

Wear Masks

  • Everyone is required to wear masks that cover their nose and mouth.

Slot Protocols

  • Slot machine banks will be arranged to allow for proper social distancing.
  • All machines and chairs will be frequently cleaned and disinfected. 
  • Guests will be encouraged to use sanitizing stations and practice frequent hand washing.

Table Game Protocols 

  • Player position limits will be implemented 
    • Four players per roulette table
    • Six players per craps table
    • Three players on Blackjack, Baccarat, and all other games
    • Pai Gow and Caribbean Stud are not available
  • Chips, cards, tables and chairs will be frequently cleaned and disinfected. 
  • All individuals participating in table games -- patrons and team members -- must wear masks.
  • Smoking, eating and drinking will be prohibited at table games.
  • Guests not participating in table games may not congregate near or around tables.
  • Over-the-shoulder play is not permitted.
  • Playing cards will be frequently replaced throughout the day if players touch the cards.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at every Table Game.
  • Dice will be disinfected with each new shooter. 
  • The Poker Room will not be available.

Restaurants and bars

  • Tables, chairs and barstools have been adjusted to allow for appropriate social distancing.
  • High touch items are cleaned and disinfected between guests, or replaced with disposable versions.
  • Hand sanitizer is provided at entrances, which guests are encouraged to use upon arrival.
  • Self-serve items, such as condiments, have been removed.
  • H-Burger and 360 Pizza will be open.
  • Bar service will be available at Sixth Street and at other select locations. 
  • Push Bar will be available for Video Poker.

Phase one amenities 

  • Seven Stars parking and priority entry into the casino will be available.
  • The Seven Stars lounge will be open with limited hours. Food and beverage service will not be offered.
  • The Gift Shop will be open with limited operating hours.
  • Cocktail service will not be available on the casino floor.
  • Casino valet will not be available.
  • Scooter and wheelchair rentals will not be available.
  • Laurel Lounge will not be open.
  • The Book will not be open; however, wagers can be able to be made on the Caesars Sports App.
