Our room was great. Clean and good service. Heard lots of complaints from other travelers. One was a door that they finally had to put a new lock unit in it. This lady was inconvenienced for several hours. Another person stayed in a pet friendly room that had not been cleaned well. Again, ours was fine and we were on the 3rd floor. It is a very smoky building. People smoked in the hallway that were in smoke free rooms. We ate at the buffet for several meals and it was very good. This was a gambling trip for us and for that reason I doubt that we will ever go back. I saw no one hitting the slots at all and this was several days of playing. Its no fun if there are no wins at all.

Getting to Tunica. Getting to Tunica is a royal pain. We traveled from the North on I-55. Half-way thru Memphis you must choose between I-55 and US61. We continued on I-55 ad 64 has stop-go signs and transfers some part of Memphis. Strangely, despite being on I-55, one must take a single lane exit (to the right) to stay on I-55. It was about 4PM, and the road was crazy. A bit further South, we took I-69 to the Tunica area. Going home we took 61 on a Sunday morning. It was great! On a week day afternoon, it would likely be just as bad. Bottom line: There is no good way to get thru Memphis, just be prepared for it.Situation and check-in: We journeyed to Horseshoe to attend the Scotty McCreery concert. We were comped two nights in a premium room on the 7th floor. At check-in, we found that we were a day late for our reservation and that it had been canceled. Perhaps we were helped by the fact we are both Diamonds, but they were able to find us a room and it was comped! Valet was prompt and very professional. Be alert, they will text your claim check to your phone, which provides a link to reclaim it later. Worked slick. The premium room is spacious. Lighting was scarce! There is a small refrigerator and an inconvenient safe. The bathroom is large enough, but much of the space is taken up by a large tub/shower combination. We much prefer a walk-in shower. Furnishings seemed new but the L-shaped couch and single chair were not very comfortable. Bed was comfortable.Electrical outlets were limited. I used a power-bar that I carry with.Spa: We had a manicure and pedicure at the hotel spa. It is very small with three stations for manicures and pedicures. A spa area is just off the reception, and has very few amenities. It was reasonably priced.

Nice casino and rooms were okay. Worst thing for me as a coffee drinker is that there are not coffee pots in the room . When checking in , they gave us 2 coupons , 1 per person , to get a coffee at Starbucks . But when I get up , I want my coffee ASAP . I don’t want to have to get dressed first and walk a mile to get it☹️Other than that , nice casino.

Room was on the second floor, very far from the elevators, and noisy from music playing in the casino below. The bed was comfortable, but all of the furniture and room decorations were old and worn. There was insufficient light in the room. The bathroom was small and needed new tiles in the bathtub/shower area. The housekeeping staff were pleasant, but not efficient. I requested the room be serviced when I left it at 9 am. At 2 pm it still had not been serviced and no housekeeping people were on the floor. A phone call was needed to get service. This happened two days of the three I stayed. Casinos are closing in Tunica and I expect this one will close soon also. That is too bad; fifteen years ago it was a fun place and the rooms were great.
