Stayed in room 2158 pool view. I could sort of see see the pool, but the bar/tiki room was in the way. However, the room was nice, clean and functional. The casino on the other hand has a very heavy smoke smell. It seems every other person in the building was smoking. Isn't is about time to end smoking in all casinos? Even with the restaurants especially the Asian one you can smell smoke. Its like eating out of an ashtray. I asked at the casino host desk if the casino has Pai Gow poker and was told no only to find it near the Legends theater. i have to agree with a previous post that having the casino cage in the same place as the casino card center is beyond dumb. I don't know when I'll be back to Tunica, but with the Roadhouse being demolished, Harrah's already gone, could Horseshoe or the Golden Nugget be next? It seems like Tunica is now an after thought.
Why are the rooms so overpriced - Poker room is like a morgue

Have wanted to make a trip to Tunica for quite some time from Nashville. I used to live in Memphis and went there 2-3 times/month. We just went to the Horseshoe over the Memorial Day weekend and stayed at the GoldStrike Casino because rates were cheaper. Two years ago we would get comps for the weekdays, those days are gone. Now the rooms are ridiculous and it doesn't matter what day you look at. The casinos are slowly fading away. The crowds are small, there's little to no excitement there anymore and to be honest, West Memphis is putting these guys out of business. My free rooms used to cost me about $2,000 in betting each visit, now they won't see any of my money because I refuse to pay the ridiculous room rate for a shabby room. The managers of the these properties are not making good decisions by pushing up the room rates.Poker room play was horrible. 1 table of 1/3 NL and 3 other tables with players is not my idea of an action packed night. My wife wanted to stay another night, I said no and we headed to West Memphis. Best decision I made all weekend, because they had a party going on up there at their place. Gambling was fun and there were a ton of people in that place.I think it's important to show your respect and go visit a dying friend. You should stop by Tunica one last time before they are buried.

Horseshoe Tunica is a struggling casino with a very small Sports Book and poor service. The casino is doing everything possible to make money to stay open. The odds on their slots appears to be low, the steak restaurant is overpriced with mediocre food and they charge extra for everything such as check in before 3:00 PM. The adjacent casino, the Gold Strike, is a lot better and worth any additional cost.

This was my first trip here I have always gone to Harrahs Gulf Coast, I wanted to give it a try and I was impressed from the start it was very large clean many food choices the casino was very large with many table games to choose from dealers were quick to deal and very kind. I want to give a thanks to Ruby the table came supervisor. She was always there if you hand a issue which I had none. while she had multiple tables she always had the time to check and see how you were doing. I hand so much fun I am going again March 25th -29. Thanks again Ruby

After calling them back- Caesar’s refused to credit me the $18. They “ confirmed” it. Incorrect. Horseshoe/ Caesar’s enjoy your $18. I’ll take all my future gambling money to Southland’s new casino or Goldstrike.
