Country singer Billy Currington will treat fans to a night full of hit songs when he takes the stage for his Horseshoe Tunica concert.
Currington, a Georgia native, moved to Nashville to pursue a career in country music after high school. His dreams came true in 2003 when he was signed to Mercury Records.
Currington’s debut self-titled album featured the singles “Walk A Little Straighter” and “I Got A Feelin.’” Both songs hit the Top 10 on the country charts. He earned a third Top 10 hit with the song “Party for Two” with Shania Twain.
His second album, “Doin’ Somethin’ Right,” produced his first No. 1 song, “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right.” The hits “Why, Why, Why” and “Good Directions” followed.
Country fans will recognize many more of Currington’s songs at his Bluesville show including “That’s How Country Boys Roll,” “People Are Crazy” and “Drinkin’ Town with a Football Problem.”
