Get ready to shake your booty at a KC and The Sunshine Band concert at Horseshoe Tunica on July 14.
KC and The Sunshine Band got their start in 1973 and churned out dozens of hit disco and funk songs throughout the '70s and '80s.
The group’s self-titled album in 1975 launched them into stardom with their first major hit, “Get Down Tonight.” It topped the R&B and Billboard Hot 100 charts. “That’s The Way (I Like It)” also hit No. 1.
In 1976, the band released the album “Part 3,” which spawned two more No. 1 singles: “I’m Your Boogie Man” and “Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake Your Booty.” The album also featured the hit “Keep It Comin’ Love.”
Fans at the KC and The Sunshine Band show at Bluesville will also be grooving to hit songs like “Boogie Shoes,” “Please Don’t Go” and “Give It Up.”
