The following is an overview of our daily operation plan that focuses on the guest experience and teammate interaction.

In addition to the specifics listed below, signage will be placed at each entrance as well as throughout the property to promote social distancing, usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), frequent handwashing and hand sanitation use. 

Team Members

  • Prior to reporting to work all Team Members are required to take and pass a health evaluation.     
  • All Team Members will be required to wear masks and temperatures will be checked before each shift.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be conveniently located for frequent use.
  • All Team Members will be trained on proper cleaning and disinfecting protocols and informed of proper PPE requirements. 
  • Team Members who are unwell or symptomatic will be directed to stay home. 
  • Work areas and common areas have been rearranged to facilitate proper social distancing.

Guests

  • All guests will be required to have their temperature checked before entering the casino.
  • Our team will be frequently cleaning high-touch areas throughout the property.
  • Signage and floor markers will be placed throughout the property to clearly indicate social distancing measures.
  • In addition to our designated non-smoking area on our Casino floor, smoking will not be permitted at any Table Games. 
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be placed at numerous locations around the property.

Wear Masks

  • Guests must have a mask on at all times, and maintain appropriate social distancing.
  • Masks may be pulled down when seated at a restaurant/bar while actively eating or drinking. Eating or drinking is only allowed when seated at a restaurant, bar or slot machine.
  • Masks may be pulled down when smoking, and smoking is only allowed when seated at a slot machine or betting carrel in a designated smoking area.

Slot Protocols

  • Slot machine banks will be arranged to allow for proper social distancing.
  • All machines and chairs will be frequently cleaned and disinfected. 
  • Guests will be encouraged to use sanitizing stations and practice frequent hand washing.

Table Game Protocols 

  • Player position limits will be implemented
    • Four players per roulette table
    • Six players per craps table
    • Three players per Blackjack, and baccarat tables
  • Chips, cards, tables and chairs will be frequently cleaned and disinfected. 
  • Playing cards will be replaced each shift if they are handled by anyone other than the dealer.
  • Each dealer will provide every arriving customer with hand sanitizer or disinfectant hand wipes.
  • Dice will be disinfected with each new shooter.
  • All individuals participating in table games -- patrons and team members -- must wear masks.
  • Smoking will be prohibited at all table games.

Spectator Racing Protocols

  • Pari-mutuel teller windows and self-service betting machines will be arranged to allow for proper social distancing.
  • The 1st floor OTB and racecourse clubhouse will be non-smoking.
  • Dining amenities will be arranged to allow for proper social distancing.
  • Outdoor viewing areas and public seating will all be properly distanced for social distancing.
  • All machines and chairs will be frequently cleaned and disinfected.
  • Guests will be encouraged to use sanitizing stations and practice frequent hand washing.

Phase Two Amenities

  • Seven Stars and ADA Accessible priority entry will be available at the casino main entrance.
  • Casino valet will not be available
  • Wheelchairs will be available in limited supply.
  • Bar service will be limited; satellite stations may be available.
  • The Laurel Lounge will open beginning on July 3rd, smoking is allowed, beverages will only be available, all DIA tier level guests will be granted access.
  • The Book (sports book) will be closed.
  • Shelby’s Gifts will be closed.
  • Live Racing will be conducted with spectators.
  • Cocktail service will be suspended until further notice. Alcohol may be purchased at satellite bars, Center Bar, Center Cut Steakhouse and Side-walk cafe.
