DO YOU RACE WHEN IT IS RAINING?
Yes, Indiana Grand conducts racing rain or shine. If conditions get too severe, a delay will be implemented until weather passes through. If the delay extends too long, then racing will be canceled.
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME DURING RACING?
Yes, Indiana Grand Racecourse is a family friendly venue. The grandstand area offers an outdoor playground outside the Family Pavilion. The only area that is restricted is the first floor OTB area, which is smoking and reserved for 18 and over.
WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE RACES?
Admission and parking is always free at Indiana Grand.
IS SEATING FREE DURING THE RACES?
Yes, there are numerous picnic tables outdoors that are open to the public on a first come first serve basis. Also, there is seating inside the Always Turned On Tent as well as the Tiki Hut. Some of these areas are restricted to guests 21 and over. Indoor seating is available to guests of all ages in the Family Pavilion on a first come, first serve basis along with the first floor OTB for guests 18 years of age and older. Additional seating is also available free of charge in the theater-style chairs just off the elevators on the second floor of the grandstand.
IS THERE A PLACE TO EAT DURING THE RACES?
Yes, Indiana Grand has multiple dining options on the Race Course side. Both the OTB and Family Pavilion offer concession-style food. The second floor offers a full service restaurant that overlooks the racetrack. Outdoor venues are open on Saturday nights.
