Mardi Gras parade
On Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10, the annual Mardi Gras parade starts at 5:30 p.m. outside of Flamingo Las Vegas, continuing onto The LINQ Promenade, through the LINQ Hotel & Casino and ends at Harrah’s Carnaval Court. The parade features showgirls adorned in LED lights, stilt walkers in LED wings, an LED umbrella dancer and an LED hoop dancer. After the parade, you can take part in contests and giveaways.

Carnaval Court is the center of the Mardi Gras action, with performances by the Las Vegas Basin St. Mardi Gras Band, tons of Mardi Gras beads, prizes, hurricane glasses and drink specials.

The LINQ Hotel & Casino / Promenade
On Feb. 13 at 6 p.m., the LINQ Promenade hosts its annual Mardi Gras parade. Enjoy live music from local jazz favorite, The Matt Seward Band on the Fountain Stage from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The LINQ Promenade will also have food and drink specials, Mardi Gras-themed cupcakes by Sprinkles, Tilted Kilt bar specials ($9 Hurricanes and $6 seafood gumbo) and bead necklace giveaways. Entertainment includes an LED brass band joined by stilt walkers.
Boston-based funk outfit Lettuce, playing Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Feb. 13 (Doors at 7 p.m.), has turned their show into a full-on Mardi Gras celebration. The band will make an appearance during The LINQ Promenade’s scheduled festivities, joining the second line – the revelatory rear – of the planned 6 p.m. pop-up parade, alongside Brooklyn Bowl’s famed carnival barker emcee and an LED Brass Band.
