I recently went to Las Vegas and stayed at Paris. Having stayed there many times in the past, I was curious to see how they were handling the new normal....In one word....EXCEPTIONAL!!!!We had two rooms and both were immaculate. The staff from check in to check out were warm and welcoming. We were upgraded to a suite, what a thrill and loved every minute of our stay.Drink service on the floor was excellent and security was everywhere, very kindly reminding people about their masks. The security dudes by the elevators were really sweet and funny.Lots of the restaurants were only open for the weekend and all restaurants had limited menus but we did just fine in that area. The people who were cleaning the slot machines were everywhere, that was comforting.I loved our time in Las Vegas, loved our time at Paris and cannot wait to return.

Paris is by far my favorite hotel and casino destination in Las Vegas. I don't feel like I am getting a Vegas experience unless I am staying at the Paris. Loved my room and the view was incredible. The Eifel Tower and the Bellagio fountains are always the best. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Kudos especially to M Jay at the front desk. She took care of a few problems that were not her fault. She went out of her way to make our stay special. Thanks to M Jay and the entire staff for making our visit memorable.

They are not enforcing nor do they appear to have done any COVID-19 preparations. I had to ask people many times to please not sit right next to me. The resort fee here is over $41.00 a night with taxes and I can't figure out what it is for. I couldn't even get online, there were additional charges so I used my own hotspot. We had trouble checking in, there's no one to help and all they have are machines to check you in. I wasn't even sure if my charge card was accepted because it kept asking me to reinsett it.
General poor hotel service.

At check in was advice because of COVID the hotel was not providing housekeeping for the stay until checkout and I agreed. I was offered to upgrade to a suite for a family would be more spacious and comfortable. I accepted and paid for the upgrade. Once arrival at suite was impressed very spacious and comfortable. No view disappointing to pay the money for a suite and have the view of the rooftops and parking lots. Decided to give it a try because of the space and 2 bathrooms for a family of 4. One had a tub I would not use since I only take baths in my own home and the other had a shower with no glass doors instead had curtains that the water would run out if in use and wet the whole bathroom. The shower head was clogged, so I called to notify and they stated they would send someone to the room to fix. Off to a bad start on my first day since you expect to rest and enjoy your vacation not to have maintenance in your room working on your first night there. So I decided to change rooms. They advice no more suites available, I would have to downsize to a regular room and I accepted. I just wanted to enjoy my stay and also not to have extra exposure to personnel in my room doing maintenance during these terrible times of Covid-19. It did not make sense to me since they were not even providing housekeeping services but yet someone was going to come into my suite to fix the shower. On my third day as I was going out met a housekeeping lady in the hall and asked to please provide me with clean towels. She replied very rudely that she did not have any clean towels. That everyone wanted clean towels and pointed out to a dirty pile of towels on the floor. That is really none of my business. Disappointed and upset walking away I turned and asked her name and she replied Vicky. When I got to the lobby decided to head to guest services and advice of my experience with the housekeeper named Vicky expecting to be understood and some kind of compassion since Vicky could of nicely said she did not have anymore clean towels with her to please request them from guest services and I would of understood. Guest services representative proceeded to instruct me a lesson on how to ask for clean towels over the phone and at no time apologized for the incident or even care. She suggested after me explaining that was not the point it was the way I was treated to put the request in for my room. I decided to cancel the remaining nights on my reservation and look for another hotel.

We originally booked our stay at Planet Hollywood but 2 days before our trip we received an email that it would be closed due to COVID. They booked us at their sister property, Paris. I was not too thrilled about this but seemed like there was no other option. The hotel & casino were just our scene. The casino smelled like smoke, our room was tiny and there was barely counter space in the bathroom. Plus they gave us a room at the very very end of the hallway when there were several much closer! You could tell which were empty because they had stickers on the doors saying which rooms has been sanitized. We placed sports bets on Sunday morning. Granted, it was the first week of games but they only had 3 booths open which made the line almost an hour long wait! They should have planned better. I would have preferred a choice on which hotel they booked us at. Paris has a much older crowd than Planet Hollywood. But I did appreciate the fact that you could be added to the pool waitlist by texting Ahead .
