ABOUT THIS VEGAS SHOW

The votes are in and America has crowned 12-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer from Oklahoma City, Okla., as the season 12 winner of the most-watched season in the 12-year history of summer’s #1 show, NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

Farmer received the most votes ever for a finale show in “AGT” history and won viewers over with her incredible performance of the Beatles’ classic “With a Little Help From My Friends” alongside her puppets, Oscar and Petunia. She faced tough competition with the other Top 10 finalists, including singer Evie Clair, dance group Diavolo, singer Chase Goehring, singer Angelica Hale, singer Mandy Harvey, comedian Preacher Lawson, dance group Light Balance, singer Kechi and animal act Sara and Hero. Last night’s live telecast hit a three-year high in 18-49 and a six-year Tuesday high in total viewers.

In addition to winning the $1 million grand prize, Farmer will headline “America’s Got Talent Live” inside the PH Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas Thursday, Nov. 2 through Sunday, Nov. 5 along with special season 12 guests: singer Angelica Hale, dance group Light Balance and comedian Preacher Lawson. ABOUT DARCI LYNNE FARMER

Darci Lynne wowed Mel B this season and received her Golden Buzzer for her performance alongside Petunia. Lynne, who considers herself shy, began singing at six years old and her mother entered her into a pageant in the hope that it would give her daughter confidence. After her first performance, Lynne went on to win multiple talent contests and pageants by the age of ten. Lynne was then inspired by a ventriloquist at a pageant and decided to give it a try. She has since won multiple state and national talent contests for ventriloquism and has appeared on TV around the world. Due to her success as a ventriloquist, she recently gave up being a gymnast to pursue her love for performing.

ABOUT ANGELICA HALE

Angelica Hale is a young singer from Atlanta. At just two years old, Hale started singing along to songs on the radio, and began taking professional vocal lessons at the age of five. When she was four years old, Hale developed a severe bacterial pneumonia that nearly took her life, causing her to go septic and have multiple organ failures, including kidney failure and permanent scarring in her right lung. She remained in kidney failure for more than a year, but in 2013 received a life-saving kidney transplant from her mother. Today Hale performs at events and fundraisers all around the country in support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, which is the hospital that saved her life.

ABOUT LIGHT BALANCE

Hailing from Dnipro City, Ukraine, Light Balance is a hi-tech neon and LED dance group comprised of talented young dancers, designers, programmers and choreographers. Melding their creative and engineer backgrounds, the group provides their audience with a unique show that unifies all of the senses. Their colorful images create a high-energy atmosphere of magic, light, dance and music. Light Balance's imaginative performance led to Tyra Banks hitting her Golden Buzzer for this season.

ABOUT PREACHER LAWSON

Preacher Lawson was born in Portland, Oregon, but raised for most of his adolescence in Memphis, Tennessee. He moved 20 times before the age of 10, but considers himself a native to Orlando, Florida, as he believes this is the city where he grew most as a comedian. As Lawson grew up in multiple cities and constantly switched schools, he had to learn how to adapt. Wherever he was, he would learn about different people and cultures, but noticed the one universal language everyone had in common was laughter, which is how he connected with and warmed up to new people. Lawson started writing jokes when he was 16, and performed for the first time at 17 years old, due to a bet he had with his mom. Lawson loves performing and won the 2015 Funniest Comedian in Florida and the 2016 Seattle International Comedy Competition.
