I had to stay here for a work conference. The pluses is that is astronomically more reasonable in prices than any place on the strip compared to where I’ve stayed in past (MGM, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Delano and Venetian). Room rate was just over $100, drinks at bar are $8 instead of $15 and you can eat a decent meal under $50. You can do late check out at 4 pm for $50 unlike others that charge $50 for an extra hour. They actually have free coffee in the room instead of sealing up the packets and charging you $5 for a paper cup, stirrer and sugar packet (I’m talking to you garbage Mandalay Bay). The rooms are “suites” but not really. Just large oversized rooms but they definitely provide more space than a standard room at other hotels. They are clean and acceptable but not what I would want if I was coming here for an actual vacation. Carpet is rabid, furniture it beat up, fixtures are falling off walls in bathroom, beds have those tiny pillows, no updated plugs near bed for phone or on desk fit laptop, the water smells like sewage when you first run it. No fridge or mini bar. If you aren’t looking for luxury accommodations, then it may be fine.I pre-checked into King bed strip view. Did I get that upon check in? Of course not. I was put in some two bed, accessible room with a view of warehouses. The accessible handicap seat in the shower blocked half the stall so it was like showering in a shoebox. I banged into it so many times I got bruises on my leg. Casino is lacking. If you like new fun slots, then go gamble elsewhere. Voodoo Steak Bar is probably their higher end restaurant and worth it. Exceptional service (Samuel was fantastic!) and food with beautiful view 50 stories up, you can enjoy cocktail on patio and while expensive, still doesn’t compare to high end strip restaurants. They have a Hash House to Go which is so freaking good. Otherwise the food options are lacking. The pool looks pretty decent actually as did the spa although I didn’t actually have time to enjoy them. I guess if you want an inexpensive option near the strip, then this isn’t a bad choice.

What a freaking dump! Half the place stinks of raw sewage. Food is insanely overpriced. Beds are the most uncomfortable things to sleep on. Plumbing in the rooms is shot, stains on everything! Rumor around town is they're planning in tearing it down...well if that's the case then prices need to be dropped on everything! Line to check in was out the door and two people working the desk. Was there for our wedding and was told at booking there would be wedding gifts in our room...only thing we got was a table that nearly fell over each night and a remote that sometimes worked. Never again!
Um.. not horrible but not good either!

We stayed only one night at this hotel and it was 22 hours too many.First off, check in was horrible. We waited in line 52 minutes to check in. This was on a Friday at noon and there were only 4 customer service reps working. Once at the desk, my husband asked a couple of questions to which the answer was “yeah, sure” but in reality she didn’t even hear his requests and even though she answered with an affirmative, the requests were not fulfilled, e.g. a room on a high floor. We were on the 19th floor (top floor is 51st). After getting to our room, I was very disappointed. It is an “all suite” hotel but in fact it isn’t a “suite” but a big room with a king-sized bed (not California King), 2 end tables, a dresser, tv stand, L-shaped couch, and coffee table. That was it. So basically it had a lot of room to walk around.Next disappointment was our “strip view” for which we paid more. Um… the view was of the parking lot and the BACK of the hotels on the strip. It was so misleading, as we did technically have a view of the “strip” but no lights, signs, etc. – only the backs of hotels. The next issue was the noise. The train went by every hour or so and we hear it very clearly from our room, waking us up. And we were close to the freeway, so the traffic noise was heard. As for cleanliness, it was lacking. When we first entered the hotel, the front doors were dirty (smudged handprints and the handles looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a while). Our room was clean but not thoroughly clean. What I mean is that the baseboards had dust, corners were needing to be vacuumed, window shade (outside) was peeling, etc. There was also a lot of wear and tear noticeable on the walls, etc. I even noticed where some colored liquid (presumably a drink) that had squirted on the ceiling and top of wall and not cleaned. The only friendly staff that I encountered was at the Players Club desk. She was friendly, helpful, and made me feel like I was a welcome guest. And the last part was that they billed our credit card twice! Now we are trying to remedy that with a reversal of one of the charges… I’m hoping for good luck with this! Will I return, not unless all other options are unavailable!
