Statement Regarding Rio Las Vegas
Statement Regarding Rio Las Vegas Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak ordered the closure of many public facilities in Nevada due to local cases of COVID-19. As a result, Rio Las Vegas will be temporarily closed effective at 12PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
To be clear, there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at Rio Las Vegas to date. However, for the health and safety of our team members and guests, the casino will close to the public beginning today.
This decision is a precautionary measure only, made to ensure we are in compliance with local rules and regulations. Rio Las Vegas is closely monitoring this evolving situation and will work with local officials to establish a reopening date as soon as it is appropriate to do so. We look forward to welcoming back team members and guests soon. Caesars has implemented enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols throughout our facilities, based on recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control.
