This hotel DESPERATELY needs upgrading and updating!! Went to Vegas for my daughter's birthday after having to cancel last year's trip due to covid. Sagging bed hurt our back so badly we asked to change rooms. Took most of the day to wait for them to clean and move us to another room, eating up time to play. New room tub didn't drain and we were left standing in our own scum, but didn't complain since we had already wasted a day. Pool area is aged and paint is peeling along edges of pools. Never enough patio furniture for us to lounge on. Phone system to desk might as well not even be in the room. No answer from front desk anytime I needed to call. Also just too far away from the fun on the strip. Spent way too much on taxis and Lyft/Uber rides. Next trip we will stay on Fremont Street. Much more fun down there. ALSO! Check your bill on checkout. I had to call when I got home and looked closer at the bill and I was over charged $98!! Also charged for $17 extra for booking my room on the phone!!?? (Call Center Fee) and watch those Resort Fees...You're also taxed on those ($35 fee was almost $40 with tax).

Chose this hotel because of location and what I thought would be a great guest experience. I was wrong. Check-in was a disaster. The express check in line was wrapped around the hotel lobby. Guests were cutting in line and the hotel staff could not control the situation. Once I checked in after waiting in the line for more than a hour, I was excited to get to the room. For the most part, the room was what I expected for the price I paid. Room: The room was clean but outdated and in need of some small maintenance. The bathroom shower faucet was literally falling off the wall. The TV wasn’t a smart TV but hey it worked fine. The mini fridge hummed but did keep the drinks cold. The bathroom sink drained slowly which made the sink extremely dirty since the residue didn’t go down immediately. The view from the room was amazing and the best part of the entire stay. No microwave in room or in a common area so no need to take left overs from eating out. You are only allowed to connect 2 devices to the WiFi unless you pay $15 a day for additional device connections. The Grounds: (4) pools but one pool was out of order during my stay. One of the pools was 21+ which was cool. Really no issues or complaints about the pool area other than it’s only open from 10am-6pm. This is Vegas. Customer Service: Despite repeated attempts of requesting room service, no one ever came to clean or service the room. They only sent up requested items such as towels and toiletries. We were here for 3 days. I had a trash mountain in the floor because it’s only one small trash can in the room. Use the text message system and do not attempt to call the front desk as no one answered. They would text back within a minute or so to answer questions. Furthermore, if you pay more than $60 a night for their standard room, you’re better off going somewhere else.

If you told me I could get charged extra to check in early, I could just wait until their formally check in time. All the furniture looks like they got from dump, all in bad shape and dirty. A huge TV stand right at the front of the window to block the view-if you call this is the view.I have been MGM resorts International properties a lot, they are all nice clean and staff members are polite, rooms are clean.Rio casino Las Vegas: room was dirty, front desk lady was rude, half size pillows, over charge early check in without acknowledge the customers.Never go back there!!!!
