Even though this hotel has been purchased by the Hyatt chain and needs some tender loving care, I still love staying at the Rio. The rooms are amazing for the price point. Large, comfortable with wonderful beds, and being a Las Vegas resort, offers many great places to choose meals from. The only downside is that the hotel is across the freeway from the Las Vegas strip. Staff is very helpful and friendly, but do not let the prices fool you. Even though the rooms are advertised very inexpensively by the time resort fees and security deposits are applied, your room for one night will cost well over the advertised prices. Bit overall, it is a great and fun place to stay Even in a covid time of our lives. There is plenty of room to park any size vehicle you have and unlike many, parking is free.
