RIO ALL-SUITE LAS VEGAS HOTEL & CASINO

I arrived at the hotel late at night and checked in the process was smooth and I planed to stay for 5 days. I was shocked when I seen the room it was just disgusting on every level the bathroom stains on the walls and the carpets. A musty smell and overall it was just shocking. This was one of the dirtiest hotel suites I have ever seen. I was exhausted so I laid down and slept for 9 hours in the morning I went down to reception and after speaking to the front desk said I wish to leave and cancel the balance of my stay. They charged me two nights $470 USD I was fine with it as I just wanted to leave. Without question this was outrageous but any hotel that would sell a room this filthy could not have any duty of care towards patrons.

$3500 charged for damages we didn’t cause, without proof/incidental report/photos and follow up.We stayed in this hotel 3x for the whole month of February. I liked it for its reasonable price and spacious rooms. However I was livid when I saw a pending charge of over $3200 when my husband checked out on 2/28/2021. He contacted them and explained that it is under investigation because the room was trashed and flooded. My husband checked out with our 2 kids, an 11 year old and 16-month old. The kind of damages they described were unbelievable and sounded malicious in nature. To keep the story short, I checked our credit card balance today and found out that they charged us $3500 with an additional pending charge of over $3200.They never called my husband to discuss this matter. He is the one always contacting them to get updates, but their excuse is that it is under investigation. Well, I guess we will see them in court.

The room we booked was a deal l, big king suite. Nice view, overlooked the warehouse behind. The fact their was a pull out bed from the sofa is great if you have children. Service around the hotel was lovely only downfall was during our stay the maids never came to clean our room and since we had trash from having snacked on a few things didn’t help at all. But when we called for room service for extra towels it was quick and was serviced in a jiffy. Def recommend the wait the deal is a steal.

The bed was terrible... old and slumped right in the middle. The furniture and decor in the suites are very dated. It was nice when I use to stay in the 90's. However, no changes have been made to the property since then.

Our stay was good but could have been better. Had to wait hours for the elevators. No microwave in the room or coffee maker. Housekeeping came and made up the bed but did not change the sheets it was the same sheets from the night before.
