And the carpets were completely soiled. Many of the restaurants were not open. Many of the machines were broken. I will not be staying here ever again and I recommend that you do not either.

This place may seem like a bargain, but it’s not! Horrible, nasty, gross, rude, and extremely poor customer service. Folks, this place has NO USB ports in the room!!! Even the cheapest of cheap motels in rural USA have USB ports. Shower was filthy when I checked in. I was on a non-smoking floor, and the smell of cig and weed smoke burned my eyes while I was in my room! Cannot get customer service to answer the phones. I was sitting naked in the toilet, and a man literally opened my room door and stuck his head in WTF??? The pool was closed while other properties have year-round heated pools. When I asked what the daily resort fee covered, they told me WiFi - $50/day is mighty expensive WiFi! The real kicker is that I needed to print off some COVID documents in order to get into a concert I was attending. I went to the business office. Using the computer is 40-cents a minute. So I pulled up my document from email to print - printing cost $5 btw. I clicked print and there was NO PAPER in the printer! I checked the other three printers, nope no paper! I checked the copier - nope. Checked all the cabinets - still no. There was not one single sheet of paper in the place. I called customer service, and got the run around and was transferred to three different people. I finally got someone who was actually in the hotel. She put me on hold for 10 min only to be told that no one could bring me paper! Really? So now I’m out $20 in computer/printing fees for nothing! If the person in that business office actually did their job, there would have been paper *somewhere* Bc absolutely no one was printing thousands of pages in that place. So, I am disputing all charges for this place, and all I can say is JUST DON’T DO IT!!!

I hate to give negative review, especially if I feel like they tried or cared or if things were beyond someones control. None of these apply to this stay. And yes I did complain, to no avail.1. I booked our stay our 2 night stay on their website. It started our at a very reasonable $39 per night. but when the tax and the $39.68 (also the pool area was closed so not quite sure what the resort fee covered)2.We did valet parking and were told by registration desk to leave nothing in the care, since this was at the end of a two week road trip this was not welcome news, but what are you going to do.3. Since it was the middle of the week only a couple of restaurants were open (with only a couple of more to open for the weekend)4.The Penn and Teller show that was supposed to be on the nights we were there and they were cancelled5. On the second day, we went up to our room and could not get in, went down to reqistration, waited 30 minutes, got new keys. Went back up to the room, keys did not work, went down to reqistration, waited 30 minutes, was told I must have let the keys be by a magnet, my phone or credit cards. Went back up to my room, the keys did not work. The housekeeper on our floor tried to let us in ( after verifying us) and could not open the door. Went back to registration, waited 30 minutes, the woman at the desk, kept my keys, told me to go back to my room and wait and she would send up security to let us in and Maintance to fix the door. I did, my husband had been waiting sitting on the hallway floor. We waited, security came, could not open the door, left, came back later and let us in.. Where we waited and maintance came and fixed the door and then called down for keys to be brought up to us. (housekeeping, security and maintance were all very good and tried to help). As I said at the the beginning, I did complain at the front desk and it did not matter.Happiness was The Rio in our rearview mirror the next day.
