Will never stay at Harrahs in tahoe again. Horrible drink service, was lied to about my free play offer- was told if I hit 6800 tier credits my offer included an additional $800 in free play. I hit 9,000 in tier credit and no one would give me my free play- don’t let this place fool you, they only want your money and will say whatever to get you up there!

Check my bags into baggage storage with a bellhop. Two hour later when I picked up my bags, I discovered that $ 900.00 went missing. Security did check cameras for any clues. Never found the money and that put a dampener on the whole trip. Harrahs either didn’t believe or didn’t feel that one of their employees was responsible for the thief ,although the bags were in their possession at the time of the robbery. Lake Tahoe 12/6/2019 Also the video poker machines were tight. I had a much better time playing at this Hard Rock. At least you’re able to play a good while before the $100.00 is gone. Employees at Harrah’s did their best at doing their jobs except the one dealer who had fallen asleep while standing up. The action wad dead and I thought that dealer was too. Anyway don’t trust that your belongings are safe while in the hands of a Harrah’s employees and Harrahs itself does not feel any responsible if your possessions go missing.

I usually choose to stay at this property when I visit Tunica because I enjoy the whirlpool tub in the king-size rooms. I decided to get away for the weekend as a little break from school. Check-in was a breeze and the room was clean and up to par. My issue came when I tried to use my laptop the next day and couldn't get Wifi. I logged in, entered my name, room # and selected the bill to room option. After a few minutes, I was online. When I tried to access my school website, I got a "no internet" message. I called front desk and was told that the internet kept going in and out and to give it a few minutes. An hour later, I still couldn't connect, even though my status said I was connected. I called front desk and was connected to IT Support. The CSR helped me troubleshoot for 30 minutes and still no connection. She said from her end I was connected, based on my IP address. I told her my wifi icon stated I was connected, but I continued to get the "no internet" message. She told me she would write a ticket to have the problem escalated and that someone would contact me. I didn't hear from anyone for the remainder of the day. When I left to go eat dinner I asked the front desk clerk was there anywhere else I could go to use my laptop. She said I could sit in the lobby and use it and she apologized for the inconvenience. When I checked out the next day, my resort fee was waived for the day I was without internet. That's a small consolation prize after losing out on a day of not being able to access my work or schoolwork. The staff that I spoke with were very apologetic about the situation, although there was nothing they could have personally done.
Worse than I thought it would be and I will never stay here again.

Parking is a bit confusing and the valet attendant was not very helpful. We ended up using valet because the attendant didn't make it clear where self park was.Ask for a room that isn't on the third floor when you check in. The room we got had furniture that had clear dings out of it and the ottoman by the sitting area was missing an entire chunk from it. The bottom drawer of the dresser would not stay closed. We were prank called early Saturday morning and when I called to complain to the front desk, after waiting on hold for 10 minutes was told there was nothing they could do. They send you a text through your stay asking how it was. I told them the issues we had. The resort fee and the valet charge was supposed to be waived for both nights. When I went to check out they had to waive the second resort fee and when I got out to valet surprise, surprise the valet fee of $26 had not been waived as promised. This hotel also is over priced for its food choices that lack quality, and smoking is allowed all through the casino area so be prepared to breathe in quite a bit of smoke. Had I known this would be our experience I would have stayed at the Marriott that is next door. And I wouldn't stay here again even if the room was offered for free.
Enjoy the winter
