We stayed at the Harrah's Tahoe and we had an issue with our safe-deposit box, and we had engineering come up and replace it but it work for one opening and then didn't continue to work. This was really inconvenient for us because we had important stuff to store. We also requested items from housekeeping and we had to call 4 hours later again to request.

I always enjoy staying at Toadhouse.. I was concerned when I heard the closing yet luckily the hotel is still available.. We did two rooms so my mom and a friend of hers could stay in the other... Bring something to cover the shower door if you dont want everyone in the room seeing you shower.. also if there are older guest bring a stool for the shower.. We ate and played at Horseshoe. We also played at Gold Strike which was just on the other side of Horseshoe.. I personally didnt do so well at the machines at either casino but my mom and friends enjoyed it..There is a jetted tub in every room.. There are smoking and non smoking rooms.. its also nice to have a fridge in each room

We had a good stay in the hotel for the most part other than a couple room issues which were much kore agreeable when we thought we were paying less. First, nothing about the pricing advertised and the pricing on our bill matched up. We booked through the Harrah’s website with resort fees of $25/night yet on the bill it was $28.50/night. It wasn’t clear that parking wasn’t included until we arrived (I’ve never been to a hotel that charged for parking if you were a guest). One night we decided to valet they told us it would be $11, again on the bill we were charged twice in addition to the daily parking fee and it was $13 not $11. I only noticed because when I mentioned how expensive our total was and that I was surprised at the price,the lady at checkout got very defensive and rude with me stating that there were “absolutely no hidden fees” and that they were “completely upfront and disclosed everything” to us. This made me suspicious and and prompted my further review of the bill. The front desk lady, I believe her name was Joanne, got very short and seemed personally offended by my comment. She went into an over explanation of the resort fees and how it was “illegal to charge us until we stepped foot on the property” and a few other explanations that weren’t asked for. She then proceeded to just type away saying she would take care of the parking fees. It got very uncomfortable and she switched to one word responses and left it with “ok I fixed it here you go” to part. It was so uncomfortable that it wasn’t worth going back and forth over but after reviewing I still don’t know if my bill was accurate, I don’t feel reassured or like it was an honest mistake, and I can’t imagine why I would get a response like that unless they clearly have problems with it all the time. All I know is that I will not be returning any time soon and they either need to treat their employees better or provide them with better training. As far as the pricing goes, deliberately giving me a one page printout of itemized charged for a two nights stay is seems like a pretty intentional way of not being upfront while “being upfront” about your pricing. What an unfortunate way to treat your customers.

Having the opportunity to visit Harrah's at Tahoe made for good memories. Excellent support from friendly and well informed staff no matter what level of play you brought to the Casino. The room was in excellent condition with beautiful view that one can only experience at Tahoe. Very good food, fun times at the Machines/gaming tables, and beautiful sights truly the recipe for good memories.
