Thirty years into his standup comedy career, Ron White is having the time of his life. While White was a popular comedian before the year 2000, it was around the millennium that the native Texan broke huge. Along with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry The Cable Guy, White toured as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour which was one of the most successful comedy tours of all time. The tour led to a television show, “Blue Collar TV,” which White appeared on seven times.
He also had his own variety television show, “The Ron White Show,” and was recently seen in the Showtime series “Roadies.” On the big screen, the comedian has been in films like “Sex and the City 2” and “Horrible Bosses.”
Known for his laid back style, his incredible recounting of real-life stories and his nickname “Tater Salad,” White continues to be one of the biggest draws in standup comedy. Come see why on August 26 as “Tater” takes over Harrah’s Cherokee Resort Event Center.
